Michelle Chen dated Alan Kuo for eight months in 2010. On August 26, 2015, she confirmed her relationship with actor Chen Xiao. They registered their marriage on July 5, 2016, and announced her pregnancy the same day. In 2016, she gave birth to a son in Taipei.
