Dominic Lam is a Hongkongese actor. In his early career, he joined the police force's Youth Training School and later became a host for the Hong Kong radio program "Youth Express."

In 1984, he married former TVB costume designer Jumbo Lau, with whom he has a son, and in 1988, the family immigrated to Toronto, Canada.
