After dropping out of Kanazawa Medical University , he joined Taiizumi Studio in 1950 as a new face. The following year, he joined the Toei Tokyo studio due to the merger of Toei , and in the same year, made his debut as a supporting character in the film directed by Masahisa Sunohara's "Limitless Passion". However, after that, there was no sprout, and in 1953 he entered the actor class and learned acting. In 1955, he signed a contract with Nikkatsu and performed under the name of Saburo Akechi. In 1956 new Toho and entering, renamed Juzaburo Akechi, historical drama was active as a young star.

After the bankruptcy of Shintoho in 1961, he moved to TV via Shochiku and appeared in many historical drama and fiction films.

He died of prostate cancer at a hospital in Ota-ku , Tokyo on December 14, 2002 . Edit Biography
