She first debuted as a member of LEGAL HIGH, a girl group formed through the idol survival program The Next Top Bang in 2019. During the same year, she released a single called Never Say Die. In 2020, she participated in iQiyi's idol program Youth With You 2, where she ranked 5th in the finale and debuted as a member of THE9. In December, Xie Ke Yin joined the acting competition I Am the Actor Season 3, where she received positive feedback for her acting skills. Apart from releasing music as a member of THE9, she released several successful solo singles and collaborations. In March 2021, she was announced as one of the cast members of Dear Child, marking her official drama debut.
