Kim Il Jung is a South Korean announcer. He obtained a bachelor's degree in Media Information from Chungnam National University. He worked at the regional office of MBC Chuncheon in 2004 before he was selected in the 13th open recruitment for announcers at SBS in 2005. He worked at SBS as part of several shows until he resigned after 10 years with the network and became a freelance announcer in 2015. He met fellow announcer Yoon Jae Hee (now a news anchor at YTN) while both attended the same academy and got married in 2008 and have two children. He is currently represented by CRB E&M.
