He was born in 1907 (Meiji 40) at Tokyo Prefecture Tokyo City Asakusa District (now Tokyo, Taito-ku, Asakusa) . His father was a landowner in Saitama prefecture .

In 1925 (Taisho 14), at the age of 18 , entered the gate of Toyo Kinema 's famous actor Kondo Iyokichi .He was a movie benshi until 1935. Before the end of the war, he entered the Tokyo theater company , lost his wife in the war, and evacuated to Yamagata prefecture as a member of the theater company and engaged in mobile theater . He has also appeared in several movies since before the war.

After the war, he belonged to Toho from the mid- 1950s and appeared in many works . Besides appearing in TV dramas, he is also known as a voice actor .

In 1974 (Showa 49), he died at 66-67 years old. Edit Biography
