So Myoung Ho, known simply as So Myoung, is a South Korean trot singer. He graduated from Namwon High School and later obtained a bachelor's degree in Public Administration from Woosong University.

Prior to his official debut, he used to sing at underground clubs as a rock singer in the late 1970s. He released his 1st album, "Korea Rhapsody", in 1987 and later stopped his career while he went to college. His most recognized song is "Bye, Bye, Bye", which was released in 2002.

He is the father of singer So Yu Mi, who is now a trot singer as well after several failed attempts as an idol. He occasionally releases new singles but rarely appears on TV.
