Susan Roces was a Filipina actress and the widow of Ronald Allan Kelley Poe. She is regarded as the "Queen of Philippine Movies" and starred in more than 130 films. Her career spanned 70 years, rose to prominence during the first golden era of the Philippine cinema in the 1950s and became the foremost leading lady of local cinema. She made her film debut in 1952, starring in the movie "Mga Bituin ng Kinabukasan". She died on May 20, 2022, at the age of 80.
