Sumi has been a member of Kamen Rider Girls since the 20th of October 2013. Joining after seeing their music videos at an idol training school, and debuting at the Girls' second one man live Rocks and Kicks #2. Her debut single was E-X-A (Exciting x Atittude) and she was designated as Kamen Rider Girls Gaim with the member colours blue and orange.
In 2016, when the Kamen Rider Girls stopped wearing belts to better support the franchise as a whole, Sumi was designated Kamen Rider Girls Blue. However, the Sengoku Driver is still worn very rarely in concerts and Gaim appears in official merch rarely too.
In 2017, Sumi made her voice acting debut in Schoolgirl Strikers: Twinkle Melodies with her voicing Mao Kamitsuki. She also is the voice of Almace in the game Phantom of the Kill and has released a character song for her.
She made her anime debut in 2019 as the character Rina in Kemurikusa. Edit Biography
