Hideto Matsumoto, better known as Hide, was the lead guitarist of X Japan and solo musician. He was a musician, singer-song writer, and record producer. He inspired a generation of rebellion during his lifetime, and was poised to be an international success until his untimely death in 1998.

In terms of dramas and films, Hide starred in his own production "Seth et Holth" with fellow musician Tusk in 1993. Many of his musical works have been used throughout the years in other projects. Edit Biography
