After graduating from Tsukudo Jinjo Elementary School in Ushigome-ku, she adopted the name of Kogiku to become a geisha in Kagurazaka.
Even after the war, she was active in Shochiku, Toho, Daiei, and Toei. After becoming an exclusive member of Toei in September 1956, she played an active part in the historical dramas, but she left the company in 1963 after the historical drama boom ended. After that, she retired from the movie world with Toei's "The Secret of the Fylinder" in 1968. After that, he played an active part in TV dramas and theatrical performances.
She died at a hospital in Tokyo at the age of 89 due to heart failure. Edit Biography
