Yi Xuan, known internationally as Kingston, is a Chinese idol and actor from Macau who grew up in the UK and Canada. He speaks Cantonese, Mandarin, and English.

At age 15, he trained at SM Entertainment for one summer, having been one of only two candidates to pass the audition amongst thousands. However, he was unable to continue as an SM trainee. At around 19 to 20, he was scouted by YG Entertainment when his dance studio in Canada hosted auditions. In 2020, as a trainee of YG China (Yaoxing Culture), he participated in "Youth with You 3", where he was eliminated in 30th place. On the show, he was voted by fellow trainees as the top visual, and fans took note of his deep voice, rap skills, artistic ability, academic achievements, and high IELTS scores.

In 2023, he left his company and the entertainment industry to resume his studies. He initially enrolled as a double major in Visual Arts and Architectural Design at the University of Toronto, later transferred to the University of Vancouver (switching to a sole Visual Arts major), and then changed direction again, graduating from Vancouver Film School with a major in Acting in 2025.

His lead role in the Hong Kong BL series "Ash" (2026) marked his acting debut and his comeback to Chinese entertainment.
