Hyuga Akiko, born in Ehime Prefecture, debuted in the film industry in 1979. Her first film was the daily life erotic film "White Swell", and then she appeared in the popular Japanese drama "3 Years B Group Teacher Jinpachi (Season 2)". Her signature sweet smile was deeply loved by the audience. Akiko died of acute myeloid leukemia at the age of 56.
