Dropped out of the Oriental Music School (currently Tokyo College of Music ). Joined the new cooperative theater company in 1951 and took the first stage in " City without the Sun ". In 1959, she formed the theater company Tokyo Arts Theater in collaboration with the theater company Chugei . Seki also participated in this. After that, she became a signboard actress of the theater company.

During this time, she has appeared in movies and TV dramas slightly, including the wife of Mitsuo Watanabe (acting: Nobuo Kaneko ) in the 1952 movie "To Live " directed by Akira Kurosawa .
