After graduating from Hiroshima Prefectural Fukuyama Seishikan Junior High School (currently Hiroshima Prefectural Fukuyama Seishikan High School ), he graduated from the Spanish Department of Osaka Foreign Language School.

1935 (Showa 10), participated in the founding of the Osaka joint troupe with Eijiro Hisaita and Yutaka Mafune appeared on the stage of such work "naked city". In 1939 (Showa 14), he made his first appearance in the movie "Numazu Soldier School" directed by Tadashi Imai . After the troupe disbanded 1941 (Showa 16), he helped found the Osakahoso theater company , then in 1942 (Showa 17) moved to Tokyo , to participate in the Mizuho troupe and continued to act in the theater until the end of the war.

After the war, he became an exclusive member of Toho and appeared in many movies including Akira Kurosawa 's " Ikiru ". His whereabouts after 1980 (Showa 55) are unknown.

His wife is a former actress, Reiko Aoi, who joined Shochiku Kyoto Studio after working in Tsukiji and appeared in " Yukinosuke Change " directed by Teinosuke Kinugasa . Edit Biography
