Allison Lin is a Taiwanese actress. She attended Chongguang Girls' High School (崇光女中高中部) and graduated from the Interactive Multimedia Design Department at the Art Institute of Houston. After two years in multimedia design, she worked as a flight attendant with Cathay Pacific Airways (香港國泰航空公司) for nearly four years. Following a thyroid tumor diagnosis, she left her position to return to Taiwan for surgery and treatment. Lin then joined TVBS as a drama project planner and made her acting debut in 2014 in the TVBS drama series "A Cafe’s Journey" (A咖的路).
