Stage artist.
His older brother, Michio, was a dancer, and his younger brother, Koreya Senda, was a director. Graduated from the Western Painting Department of Tokyo University of the Arts (Tokyo University of the Arts). Yoshi Hijikata devoted himself to performing arts, starting with the Model Stage Research Institute, and made his debut at the Tsukiji Small Theater in 1924 with the equipment of "Julius Caesar".
After the Tsukiji Small Theater era, he has been active in new plays, Shinpa, Kabuki, opera, dance, movies and activities. He works on many things such as "Gashintare", "Gashintare", and "Wandering Record".
His books include "Study of Stage Equipment" and "Kisaku Ito Performing Art".
Received the Minister of Education Award, the Japan Art Academy Prize, the Mainichi Theater Award, and the Film Art Award. Edit Biography
