Jeong Deuk Sun's first movie starring role was in Ahn Jin Sang's 1948 police film 'Dawn'. From the late 1940s to the late 60s, she appeared in more than 40 films. In the 1960s, she appeared in 'Seongchunhyang' (1961), 'The Dae Shimcheongjeon' (1962), 'The Sino-Japanese War and the Heroine Minbi' (1965). She also appeared in Kim Soo Yong's major films, such as 'Gaet Village' (1965), 'Wildfire' (1967), 'The Sound of Magpie' (1967), and 'Pure Love' (1968).
