Yamamoto Kazuo is a Japanese producer, born in Kyoto, Japan. He's a former Yomiuri TV chief producer. After joining the company, he was an assistant director for variety shows, but in 1983 he was transferred to the drama production department and was promoted to director. After that, he was in charge of the drama series in the morning.

He left YTV in 1999, but still he's producer of variety of dramas, shows and movies. Not to be mistaken with the director with the same name. Edit Biography
