Eric Tang is a Hongkongese actor, scriptwriter, director, voice actor, and drama instructor. He is currently a contracted artist under TVB and the artistic director of "Heart Theatre." In the 2022 TVB Anniversary Awards, he won the "Best Supporting Actor" award for his role in "The Gutter."

He joined the Sha Tin Theatre Drama Class at the age of 18 and received encouragement from fellow members. Despite not meeting the basic requirements for a diploma, he was admitted to the Hong Kong Academy for Performing Arts through recommendations from the Drama Society teacher and Sha Tin Theatre, submitting a self-recommendation letter expressing his enthusiasm for acting. Tang excelled in his studies, receiving an Outstanding Student Award and winning Outstanding Actor awards for his performances in stage plays such as "Glass Mountain" and "Field." In 2008, he joined PIP Theatre as a full-time actor and received the Outstanding Young Actor Award from the Hong Kong Drama Association.

Tang has been actively involved in drama education. Since joining PIP Cultural Industries in 2008, he has conducted adult drama classes and various drama workshops. Starting from 2018, he has been a drama instructor at TVB's Artist Training Class.
