Rocky Lai is a Hong Kong actor, martial arts instructor, martial arts director, action choreographer, and stuntman. He has been a member of the Jackie Chan Stuntman Team and worked on numerous Jackie Chan movies. He got the job as an extra through his brother, Benny Lai, after he had lost his job. He was promoted to the job as a stuntman after he volunteered to do a stunt when none of the young stuntmen present were able to do it, and none of the more experienced stuntmen were around to do it. Following his brother, who is also a stuntman, he was able to adapt quickly to the job.
