Chae Gook Hee is a South Korean actress born in Yongdu, Dongdaemun, Seoul. She holds a Bachelor’s degree in Social Welfare from Konkuk University Glocal Campus (건국대학교 글로컬캠퍼스) and a Master’s degree in Arts from Sungkyunkwan University Graduate School (성균관대학교 대학원).

After working as a flight attendant for Korean Air (대한항공) for a year, she debuted in 1994 as part of the second class of ACOM musical actors. Since then, she has been involved in theater, drama, film, musicals, and pansori performances.

Her father is Chae Young Suk (채영석), her mother is Ka Myung Soon (가명순), and her older sister is actress Chae Shi Ra (채시라).
