Kurosawa Jun is a Japanese film director and cinematographer. Born in Fukaya City, Saitama Prefecture, Japan, he graduated from Saitama Prefectural Kumagaya High School and Tama Art University, Faculty of Fine Arts, Department of Art. While in college, he learned filmmaking from Hagiwara Sakumi. After graduation, he engaged not only with Japanese experimental film movements but also with the Japanese contemporary art scene. His works span a wide range of artistic genres, including industrial music, performances, and opera.
