After completing the recording for their 2005 album "The Final Paradise", he took a temporary leave in June that year to recover. The members of Energy eventually went their separate ways in 2009.
In 2024, Edy rejoined Energy, now under Believe Music (相信音樂), marking his return to the music scene.
