I wasn't talking about his backstory (though 2.5 episodes was criminally too long for 12 episodes drama), I'm talking about the penultimate episode, which was a total filler that ended right where it started but one year later. Absolutely unnecessary and again, criminal for 12 episodes drama.

And I doubt Naksu's body was snatched from the pyre while everyone was watching. And they did show a close up shot - it was her. Somebody could have done a magically altered body switcheroo prior to that, but nobody had any reason to at that moment. I think her og body is really ash and there will be something else that resurrects her.

Or he may think she's some sort of living artifact from Jin vault or somesuch, taking her likeness. The biggest mystery is how her return will be presented, I'm betting on the artifacts.

It's one of the points because romance in dramas is in high demand all the time. Even in this drama's comment section whether it has romance between the leads or not was the most frequent question from people who were on the fence whether to watch it or not.
And chemistry was there, but it was wasted.

She's a very nice actress, can play completely different roles. And this year she's everywhere it seems - ABP, AoS, EAW, this one...
But her nickname is "I'VE NO CHINGU!" forever now for me, because it's such a meme 🤣

You're right, she does look kinda similar to Crazy Love's ex with trying to get together with ML as if nothing happened, but that ex was another kind of delulu. There she ditched ML herself many years ago to save his ass from being killed by her chaebol father, but she still loved him.
But here I'm not sure what's going on with this ex. It's wasn't her fault they broke up, but it doesn't look like love to me, more like obsession due to loneliness and maybe a need to prove something to her mother?
And somehow she's very annoying here right off the bat with her unsubtle attempts to get together again. Maybe because she's not as classy as that ex in Crazy Love, or maybe because ML there made it clear from the start that he won't be giving her any second chances.

One thing for sure out of this - love polygons will continue because the writers just can't help themselves.

I think her self-realization was already covered in part 1 where she gave up a chance at regaining her power for love. But unresolved issues remained, sure. But her losing her memories doesn't absolve her of anything though. And judging by the photos she's not just back to zero, she’s into deficit now😂 Not only not knowing whose body she inhabits, but also not knowing who she is as a soul, and back in someone's house (Uk's?) doing chores again or somesuch 🤣

Well, according to her poster it seems she'll have amnesia 🙄 So maybe that's why she looks like an innocent blank slate? (I hate this bs trope so much, but watcha gonna do...😒)

4 reasons not to watch this drama:
-Butchered, all over the place plot with rushed ending due to production troubles.
-Dumb cliche main villain that gets easily dealt with in the last episode.
-Unnecessary time skip in a filler episode.
-No romance between the leads, the only romance was in ML's backstory.

Overall - overhyped because of great cast.

Keep watching, she has a popular tsundere archetype, she'll soon turn from tsun to dere 😆

An opinion.

That’s not much to go on, but I suppose that could mean amnesia, the most contrived trope in kdramas. And of course ML wouldn’t know either cuz she’s in a new body 🤦‍♂️🙄. I hope she remembers herself soon though, otherwise what’s the point of returning her in part 2 with mere 10 episodes if she’s gonna be a blank slate throughout. May as well insert any random new girl.

Well, I'm watching ongoing kdramas, like I'm sure many people here, but certainly not all of them, just the most popular ones. Or is it that my posts simply get your attention? 😅

Well, considering AoS events it's a given. Not only was she rescued by Jinyowon retinue from the lake, what else is there but some magical mumbo jumbo artifacts from Jin vault to restore her back to her og body?
The questions are: Is she a prisoner? And why 3 years time skip?
