youku is just dumb beyond imagination :))) they have 0 marketing strategy, absolutely no clue about WICH projects to choose and invest in for a better profit and better rep, no plans for proper promotion, scheduling and etc...people keep saying it's bc bftb actors aren't popular but look at legend of Anle! It feels like they completely forgot about the existence of that show with the lack of hype and promo and they've got HUGE stars in it?? They also got WOH 's directors (which became a massive hit even with youku almost completely abandoning it ) and you'd think they learned from their previous mistakes but nah, they were still dumb enough to delay it forever instead of airing it in the right time and do almost nothing to hype it up before release lmao
Same, I think because actress acting, I hate her character but somehow in sad moments felt bad for her
Have not watched today's episode yet but I agree on her being a really good actress (specially compared to the lame performances villains in xianxias usually deliver lol )

I really don't mind constructive criticism like I really don't, but these 2 species of people are ALWAYS in EVERY drama's comment section it kinda gets annoying at some point...about the "it doesn't follow the novel" part, although I've not read it, I'd usually agree bc they tend to change things to certain annoying lazy clichés most of the times (adding a bunch of misunderstandings, dumbing down female characters, making male characters too pitiful or too perfect etc) but here we have none of those and the scriptwriter seems to actually know her thing and has worked on this properly so really, what if it's different from the novel?? Same thing happened during clj too, people kept complaining about the drama not following the novel when the script was literally objectively decent and the writers said they've worked on it for 3 years...their problem is just bias smh
