I actually said I don't mind and don't care if you want to watch and enjoy it sp bc they're just one part of a story abt multiple chars and couples in my comment but again, you CAN'T read at all (or get intimidated by more than 2 lines of written text and jump to conclusions).
It's actually quite the opposite bc since day 1, every single person who talks abt not liking this thing abt the show (which is like 1 in every 50 ppl so idk why you're talking as if youre getting bullied by a huge group of crazed paychos) gets ratiod and jumped by you lot and told that they're k!lljoys and not intelligent enough to understand its a normal thing for a "historical" drama 😭

yeah it's a pretty important issue and tells you a lot about how dirty the ent industry is and how adults take advantage of kids in there so ofc I'm gonna write an essay. As long as I rmmbr they make comments sections for this purpose but since nuanced convos and anything slightly negative has your brain fried I guess I won't continue anymore.

1: Ik there might not be skinship between tian2 and win2's chars, but it still doesn't make it right. There are dozens of adult actresses and actors under 20 who could've been paired up with either of these two and they didn't do it.
2: Idc what anybody says, tian2's parents, her agency and yuzheng are ALL responsible and should be questioned for this.
3: Why is the "it's historical so its normal" logic so wrong?? because It's litterally fictional and made up. There's retelling real historical events or creating fiction with realistic historical values as a means to CRITISIZE those questionable values. And then there's you, a 21st century person who KNOWS fully well why sth "normal" in 13th century is actually not normal at all, writing a completely made up story of made up chars with a cutsy romance plot between a child and an a dult and then slapping a "well it's historical so I was just being realistic" on it. Tha just doesn't work lol

wasn't gonna speak on this but saw a comment here and a ratio that pissed me off so:
I'm sick and tired of ppl using the "it's a historical drama so the age gap is normal" rhetoric every time a minor (whether the character or the actor) and an adult are paired up in completely fictional romance dramas...can we just stop gaslighting ppl into believing they're dumb for being uncomfortable with this??? Like I do not care one bit if you're okay with that and want to keep watching. Have a good time with your drama and nobody's stopping you; but this isn't even a matter of personal opinion, it's just objectively unethical and if you want to not care or skip their scenes and keep watching, all you can do is ignore comments of ppl who call it out instead of justifying it with bad logic...

yeah it's a matter of personal opinion tbh and for me It's more the fabric choice that I dislike here...the fuzzy and sparky ones are just not it. They look cheap and too polyester for a historical drama imo

not really vibing with the costumes in vos idk...I gave it some time and tried to not be a hater from the get-go but these are really a downgrade from mjty and fof 😭

The doomed siblings subplot in MM is an example of how to actually write messy sisters' relationship in a complex and layered way instead of just making the non fl sister a 1 dimensional petty jealous b!tch who's only there to throw lazy conflicts in the plot and make fl look good in comparison.

performance specially when it comes to idol actors depends a lot on directors...I found lyr super awkward and very green in lltg while he was very nice to watch in Blossom and ZYR might not have been the best in LOW but he was very natural in WIFTY. And trust me I love wp and want her to become popular too but MGIAA is not popular in china and itl market has very little effect on the mainland's ent industry, the "enigma" is just her team's bad marketing. Tbh it just sounds very petty and mean when you ppl complain and say you want this and that popular actor instead the moment you see fresh faces in dramas...
