fun little fantasy romance

I liked the chemistry between the two lead actors. I liked the fantasy aspect. I'm not one to deeply analyze a program. This to me has a feel good vibe and I'm liking it. Others have criticized this program for being shallow. Is it predictable where the story is going? yes but I'm fine with that and I'm enjoying it. Sometimes it is okay to turn off your mind and have a fun story to watch and this series is one of those.

The thing about the port keys and dreams could have been better but I'm okay with it , I think it would be nice it they had some time clues on how long the main characters have been in the alternate universe . Not until episode 9 do you a definite time sense because in that episode they have a 1 yr anniversary party for Friend Credits.

I liked that they didn't make the first movie they made a success. it was be interesting to see where things went from there. There was a little foreshadowing in episode 5 with the gentleman that came back after 5 years to find his life destroyed. I liked how that played a part after Talay returns to the main universe. I liked it when Talay and Puen meet in the main universe again and there was a reference to a scene from episode 2. I liked how it had a happy ending and you also got to see what was happening in the other universe. I was satisfied with the ending. In episode 12 be sure to watch the "Anywhere with Lays" segment after the credits roll. Not to spoil anything but you'll want to watch it. It makes the ending a little more satisfying.

Overall I really liked the series and If you are not an analytical person I would recommend it .

fantasy drama

I was really enjoying it through episodes 14. Then it seemed to get off track then back on track. I have just finished watching the whole series. It was good but a little disappointing. I loved most episodes although it did seem to stutter and start it. It was interesting to see where the story went. Although this is promoted as a time travel story I wondered if it was a ghost story or reincarnation story? It's wasn't clear until episode 30. Although they were talking about black holes so in my mind it was probably time travel however: there were 4 occurrences that left a person wondering. 1. Xiang Qin Yu arrives in the future having been shot then later at the hospital the blood and the wound disappears. 2. The newspaper article about Xiang Qin Yu disappears on the bus. 3. Xiang Qin Yu goes back to the past and can only observe events happening before he's whisked back to the present. (Maybe in the end if it winds up being a ghost story the writers will say that it was his energy that was transported. It could be similar to what happened to the ghost in Chicago Typewriter where he lost cohesion and had to go live in the story until he could regain his essence because he used up too much of his essence helping the ML and Fl of the TV show). 4. Xiang Qin Yu 's hand fades out in the dressing room and then comes back? Hmm what is going on there? I know the answer but I won't spoil it for others who haven't finished the series. I will just say it's complicated.

The FL and ML have good chemistry. I love historical fiction and time travel.
Some things I liked about the series were:
1.The humor- For the most part the humor was good until it started having forced comedic moments .
2, The mysteries- I liked that there was mysteries to be solved in the past and the present.
3, The romance I liked the romance but I think it could have been better. It had touching moments ,although I have to say a fake wedding night? What were the writers thinking. The wedding night could have been tender and touching instead it turned into a forced comedic moment.
4. The drama- Keep the tissues handy. It had some very touching moments.
5. Past and present story lines- I loved having the story progress in the past and the present. .Alot of times there is a brief time spent in one time period then most of the time is spent in main time period. This was good it went back and forth between the past and the present. It added depth to the story seeing things that happened in past and present beyond the initial setup.

I had great hopes for it. I spent time I should have been sleeping watching it. I generally don't watch tv shows that are more than 20 episodes but the premise looked really good so I started watching it. I loved episodes 1-6 then the story started to bog down with forced humor. But with episode 14 it seemed to be back on track. I think it would have been better as a 20 episode TV show. I will say that it had potential unfulfilled but it was surprising where the story went and how the two time lines were tied together. I have downgraded my rating from a 9.5 to an 7.5. I won't write too much spoilers. But I have to shake my head and say "WHAT THE HECK WERE THEY THINKING " for episodes 29 and 30. A fake wedding night? and the direction it took for ending the series, I probably won't re watch it. If I do I will pick and choose my episodes. To me t it was an unsatisfactory ending but then I like definite happy endings not a vague open ending.

This is similar to the movie "While you were Sleeping"

This TV series has a similar plot to the movie"While you were Sleeping". If you try to compare the two then you could find the mother in LS annoying. Because she is always finding fault with the second child . But overall I think the series is really well done. If you liked "While you were sleeping." There is a good chance you will like this.

On the surface this is about mistaken identities and how one good deed can sometimes be misconstrued. You can get stuck in an unintentional lie that was was told with good intentions. I like how it showed the development of the main characters.
I like the realism of this series and the attention to small details. I like how they have emphasized the loneliness between the characters. There is more depth to the story then in typical Lakorns and I like how they do the flash backs. There were more issues than just loneliness. That's all I am going to say so I don't spoil it.

Update: the story is taking a darker turn. It still is good but no longer the light hearted comedy it started out. I just hope it doesn't get too dark.

Update 2: I just finished the series. It was really good. I like the twists in episode 13 and 14. I love the character development and redemption and the clear happy ending.

Great drama

I just finished watching this. I will say that as I was finishing the final episode and it got to one part in the story I thought "NO you can't end it this way." But finishing it, there was a nice twist with a happy. end. I loved the message that money isn't everything. I really enjoyed this drama, It's one I definitely will re-watch. I have already re watch it once while waiting for the ending.
I loved the chemistry between the actors. I thought they did a great job .Definitely a good one to binge watch. If you love fantasy you like this. Is it perfect ? NO but it was very good.

fluff piece

it's a simple story about twins switching places. what is great about it is that it is between 10-15 min episodes. Id rate it a B. I loved episode 2 with the FL making dinner that was funny, THe actors were fine with their performance with the script they were given. There was only a couple of glaring gaps in the story but that wasn't enough to destroy enjoying it.
There was some comedy,suspense and romance. Something that doesn't need any concentration to watch but is good to pass a small amount of time.
Predictable villains and ending but it was enjoyable enough.

There are currently 3 reviews about this series. 1 person gave it an A. 1 person gave it an F and the other person gave it a C. You average the three reviews together and it comes out to a C. So I decided to try it . Not the worst not the best I would give it an C plus. So if you only have a short time to watch something this would be a fine choice.
Likes:
1. Male lead's acting was good and he is good looking.
2. The main story was good.
3. short episodes only a half hour in length
Dislikes:
1. To many story lines. It would have been better to concentrate on the main story line.
In fact I skipped here and there and didn't feel like I missed anything.
2. Major DRAMA - If you like soap operas you will like this.

I thought that overall the series was pretty good. I will admit that Johhny was annoying at time, That being said with out putting any spoilers in this review I think episodes 19 and 20 saved the series. Before that I rated it about a 7 but I liked the ending so I bumped it up to an 8, There was a mixture of story lines : one for the main couple and one for the secondary couple the third couple wasn't necessary except to tie up loose ends from History 4 (for fans of that series it was satisfying to know what happened with one of the couples). I thought that the 2 story-lines added depth to the series. I was glad HIStory 5 had a happy ending. Give it a try I hope you will like it, i sure did.

Good comedy drama

* if you need the series to be subbed into English.. One31 has episodes subbed into English on YouTube, I am grateful for those who sub the TV shows so non speaking Thai can enjoy them. I know that the tv station has done the subbing but I am grateful that they have . I want to put a gratitude plug for all those that doing subbing so non Thai can enjoy Thai series.,
I came across this series right after watching Petra Nerimet ( which was a time travel show) but it had a similar feel.

cute funny movie

This is a cute funny time travel movie.
Likes:
1. The two time periods: I thought how they moved between time periods was well done. It was nice to see both time periods being actively used to progress the story.
2, I liked the interaction between the female and male leads.
3;I thought it was funny how they tried to get rich in the past and it failed.
4. The humor I thought was good.
5. They spelled out the time travel rules for this movie which was nice. In other movies and tv shows about time travel the rules are often left unexplained and it can cause confusion in enjoying the show. You could almost say they broke one rule at the end at this movie if you were being nit picky.
Dislikes:
1. I didn't like the ending. I thought the ending could have been much better.I thought the ending was lacking. I like clear cut happy endings. This was left as an open ending. Although, in the end credit scenes that were not translated into English the relationship appeared to be more defined.

I enjoyed the movie except for the ending. The story was good and so was the acting.I gave it an 8 because of the ending.

not your typical time travel story and definitely for adults

This is not your run of the mill time travel story. I like that the story lines are both in the past and the present.

The secondary characters appear to have all been re-incarnated. Hopefully past and present will be reconciled eventually.

The first couple episode are confusing but I believe that it's done deliberately on the part of the writer until all the pieces start to come together. The writer is being extra careful to not give hints of what's coming, so every move is a surprise. The action is neither to slow or to fast. I'm really curious to see what will come next.

The writing is good, the acting is superb, the sets are good and the costuming is excellent.

I rated it a 9 and dropped it to an 8 because at episode 12 the story it is getting weird. I am just a little nervous in the direction it is taking. I have to say I hope it has a clear happy ending and at this point i am not sure if it will.

Update- Episode 13 and 14 were better. I like how some of the characters are getting their karma. I can't wait for the remaining 2 episodes there are many possibilities to be explored it will be interesting to see where the story goes., I will not put spoilers in here but I will say it's starting toward the ending and I hope it's happy..

This program had potential that was unrealized. if you have not started it I'd suggest you find another program.
I liked episode 0 but episodes 1 through 10 were a bit of a grind to get through.The jokes were forced and not that funny. There was drama but it was too much of a clique. The plot had many holes that needed plugged. The script was disjointed and it felt like the script lacked a clear direction. The music was not consistent in the feel of it. This needed more editing before it came to screen and a clearer direction.
I kept watching hoping that it would get better and I wanted to see how it ended. This looked like an expensive show to make. They should have taken out the yacht scene and spent that money for a better script. I really liked episode 12 that's what saved me from giving this tv show a 4. Even though felt like the ending was a bit rushed. I m glad it had a happy ending.
I won't rewatch it.

You will either love it or hate it. Is it perfect...NO.. Is it good ...YES,,

I can understand why some people dropped it, it's hard to watch a series about hard topics. There was some unnecessary silliness in the office and in a couple places i felt like the attempt to what they were trying to convey fell a little short of the mark but overall I liked it.

This story does more than just touch on the sensitive issue of sexual abuse and assault. I think they handled the sensitive subject well. It does a good job of showing how it messes with a person's life but you can over come it, Especially if you have support It also showed how he dealt with. i liked how they didn't make him an angry character out for revenge, It was very realistic the portrayal of the sexual misconduct in the office. i like how Uea cut ties with his mom but still kept in touch with his sister. He still cared about the mom which was evident by him asking about her but he was able to cut that toxic relationship out of his life.

I liked how King's character stood up and took action even though he was nervous, I also liked how UEA resigned because that too was very realistic. (i would be like him. In fact I once quit a job because of problems at work from an over friendly boss) I will admit I have re-watched the scene in episode 8 where King handles the problem with the Boss a couple of times. I wish more people would have that kind of courage. (coming from the standpoint of hiding that I'm so good at.) I liked how king took action for the problems. I liked how the girl said something to the effect of "I didn't know how to handle it," I also liked how they showed that UEA was targeted by other people that preyed on the weak, that also was realistic.

I liked how UEA 's character was portrayed with a multitude of emotions, I think the actor did an excellent job, I liked how king's character was supportive but also wasn't perfect, It was a huge blunder when he went on a date with someone else but that also was realistic, It showed how we can be pressured into doing things we don't want and how that effects things. i liked the ending. I like happy endings.
I don't often give a 9 but for this series it deserves it. The actors did an excellent job.

Cute Cinderella ghost story

The ML in the first episode has some depth to the character which is nice. The FL is a timid stereotypical Cinderella type. It will be interesting to see her development and growth. The stepmother is a bit overdone. I love the ghost mother. It will be interesting to see how the series progresses and what troubles she creates for the FL. I am really like the supporting male actor his actions are over the top but that is what makes it so funny.
Overall I am enjoying the series. It will be interesting to see how it unfolds. Is it predictable ? Yes, but that's alright This is what I would call a fluff TV series. You can enjoy it without thinking too much. I like a good mystery with twists and turns but sometimes a fluff piece is good. I think the acting is fine and I like the humor.
It is getting better but Im stuck right now because it has only been translated as far as episode 16. Right at an exciting part. I hope it get's finished soon because I really want to know how it ends.

Pretty good drama

I had been enjoying the series until episode 11. I had rated it a 9. It was very good until episode 11. I liked the chemistry between the actors. The main actors did a good job displaying the different emotions. It has been an enjoyable series until episode 11. Then I reduced my rating to an 8. With out spoiling anything I will just state: WHAT WERE THE WRITERS THINKING? There is a definite twist in the story. I don't think it was a good direction and it doesn't seem very believable. The story has building up in a certain direction and it lost momentum with episodes 11 and 12. I did like how they realistically tackled acceptance and being different. Without spoiling anything I will say that there was a scene in episode 12 that was really well done. You could really feel the emotion. The ending was good but parts of it seemed a little unrealistic. I did like the ending between Ayan and Akk. Overall the series was good. I would recommend watching it.
