I didn't argue whether he was guilty or not. All I am saying is that the scandal gave a setback on his career. And the 'excellent cast' you're saying aren't exactly at the same level KJH was at in his peak. Without the scandal, he would have certainly been one of the favorites for new projects. He was finding his rhythm to be one of the sought after actors. Choi Tae Joon is a great actor but he is yet to make a household name for himself. So, KJH stardom was at the highest before the scandal struck. And he would have continued to reach even bigger heights if didn't happen. In my honest opinion, he is yet to make a full comeback. He would even be lucky to get a new project within the next 2 years. I understand he was found not guilty from the scandal. But his name was kind of smeared before he reached his full heights. I am starting to think the Korean entertainment judge actors/actresses based on whether they're involved in a scandal and not whether they're innocent or not. Since 2021, I also thought he had made his comeback with the drama Kokdu: Season of Deity. But ever since then it seems the show producers are somehow reluctant to still cast him. I am sure he will make a comeback, we all want him to do so. But it will take some time. He's much better than most actors/actresses embroiled in a scandal in my honest opinion. Most of them aren't getting anything so at least for now he is getting something to work on.
You really don't get it? I meant that the quality of scripts he received reduced because of the scandal. So the 'low rent product' is the best he can do/receive until the industry start to accept him back.
Not really, look it up. It was after. It happened somewhere around 2021. Both shows were produced before 2021, CLoY (2019) and Mr. Queen (2020). That explains why you don't see Seo Yea-ji as often as you would expect to especially after her popularity from It's Okay to Not Be Okay.
Shooting is due to start soon, according to Korean rumors Suzy is starting shooting after the film she was shooting,…
If you put it into perspective she has just the drama with Kim Woo Bin in the last 2 years. A movie isn't that exhausting from the filming point of view, especially where there are no actions or stunts. So I would be pushing for two projects in the last two years. There isn't much to say about that. This show is literally planned to be released next year. So if you put that into perspective, you can't really say she's a robot. I love her and would love her to get more offers. But this isn't really the definition of being swamped with projects.
Why are people so quick to assume that PBG will not appear (or will appear much less) in the 3rd and 4th arcs?…
I guess you must have skipped ep 7 & 8. He has less screen time. He doesn't even take up more than 10 minutes when you combine both episodes. AND no one is saying he won't appear. Some of us maybe most of us are taking about his reduced screen time. There's a difference.
i know i feel the same he is the light of the show.
It feels lonely watching without him on it. IU and Park Bo Gum are the reason some of us got hooked to the show. Removing either of them feels like creating a big gap.
Should have given Park Bo Gum a wig or something to make him look older but keep him on show. I can't imagine watching another 8 episodes without him on it but a flashback.
Finished watching. Yeah, he isn't romantically attracted to her.
You might as well just drop it. Dating shows are like that. Most once they set their mind on someone they stick to them until the end. Though she might also change because of not receiving a text from him.
FL is so annoying.. damn. She is too overplayed for my taste. Hope it will get better...ep. 3
I am crushing on the FL more than the ML. I guess its just about the taste. Maybe or maybe not you will come to love her as the show goes on. She's super cute and funny.
