I agree. Lately, I feel they have starved us up with dating shows. I know there are many Chinese dating shows but l can't get myself to watch them. Yeah, it feels good to get something after such a long while.

Ooh well, get ready to be disappointed. I liked You Jin and hoped that it worked between them. But now, I don't know. Especially for what she does in the campfire. Watch to find out.

I know. She should have kept her calm self. She literally had 3 guys interested. Now, with that she lost all 3 of them. So sad. She shouldn't drink for the foreseeable future just to reflect on that embarrassment.

And what episode are you in? Because she did find find him annoying/irritable. And how exactly did the guys turn out? Maybe here you could mention just two men that you found worse and they turned out to be just that. There are only two members who crash out by the end of episode 4, a male and female. But they were actually doing well but things turned out worse for them.

And about liking him too early, its actually a compliment. People actually start to like him on ep. 4. He is just a jokester for many of us in the beginning.

Good for you! I have nothing against him though. Actually, you started liking him way too early. He actually gets better and receives more love as the episodes progresses.
I just never judge someone's personality in comparison to the others. That was what I was pointing at. He is just being comfortable being himself. The rest are just awkward or maybe too self-conscious about how others judge them that they're not too comfortable like him.
Also, that part of him actually annoys the girls. It works for the audience as it is entertaining but not the girls. But he redeems himself as you will see as you continue watching. He is actually sincere and can be serious. Thats what attracts someone in the show. Or maybe its too early to actually admit that. Nothing is confirmed yet so let's continue watching.

The only Chinese dating show I have ever completed is the Heart Signal Season 2. Even to today, that season stands out to me. Season 5 was good too. The rest of the Chinese dating shows, I have never managed to complete or start them and I am not planning to.

Yeah, Chinese ones are more genuine. They don't approach these shows as a tool to market themselves. I have watched a few, but I find most members are actually successful in what they do or at least figuring it out. For the members that are still figuring it out, you don't find them in fields such as modelling or acting. It is fields like financing or accounting etc that has little to do with clout.
So, I agree the Chinese shows are actually more genuine because either they cast better or the members approach these shows with genuine intention. I, personally, can't make myself watch them. As much as the Korean shows are less genuine, I find them more entertaining than the Chinese. I don't know, maybe I need some fixing. I am just as bad as them, LOL (This could be one of the reasons they continue to make these fake shows. Because we the audience actually enjoy them).

Ooh okay. Its just sad. At this point I have just accepted it to be a trend on Single's inferno to do that. There must be someone popular in all their seasons. Right now, it isn't surprising anymore.
I guess despite knowing they are there for clout, I still stick around and watch maybe because I like how bold and daring they are. Most members believe they are attractive and have the confident to approach others. Maybe its a make-believe at this point. But I continue to watch it anyway for their entertaining aspect, possibly.

Or maybe Theo is a show off. Just because he is outspoken doesn't mean he isn't trying to be cool. May be that is his way of being cool. People are just different. I for one become very awkward in front of strangers or people I have just met. I am not like Theo. It is not because I want to be cool. I think most of the quiet guys are like that just because they're awkward or don't possess the skills to talk to large group of people not just girls. They're just introverted and not playing cool.

You mean based on their attractiveness? I think they look okay. Its their personalities that I would actually judge. Also, stop saying that. Why are we using the girls' looks as a way to judge them? Can't we judge everyone based on their personalities? This actually puts pressure on the girls to do cosmetic surgeries just to look good.
To me, the casting of the girls doesn't look good. They look like commercial models and not like the average girl trying to get someone to date.
I would love to agree that the men look average. But most look they have perfect bodies and are handsome based on the Korean standard. But I don't like most of them because they look calculative. Not a bad thing as it is a show after all but also it means they're not really serious to match with someone. They just want the clout.
Famous people or not, how they act is really important. I only know Jun Seo is the famous one. But I haven't seen his actions giving away that he is there for clout. Normally, if someone wants clout they would try to get everyone to notice them. I see he is naturally quiet and struggles to interact until the one night in ep.4 when he got drunk that I saw he became a little talkative in the crowd.
Jun Seo and Dong Woo are actually the only two guys I find good in the entire show. So maybe you can say how you found his actions not genuine. You have to actually be foxy and a little hypocritical if you want to get a lot of clout from this show. I see him as very shy so I couldn't catch what you said.

Going forward, I actually think he will do better. He starts to improve towards the end of ep.4.

Naah, if you watch the show based on the level of their attractiveness, then it would be difficult to continue. I think that's the impression when you encounter the show at a glance. Just watch it maybe until ep.4 and then make a decision. As you continue to watch you will actually come to like them based on their personalities including the males too. Beside their exterior looks, they all have endearing qualities that make me like this season than the rest.

Side note, I would actually love them to be less attractive. That makes it more realistic to me. The reason I love I am Solo is because of how realistic it looks and people go there actually serious with marriage in mind. Many people do get together and many have actually married and even got kids. I like those type of shows. But this one as much I like them for how bold and daring they are when they're flirting, I just feel that everything is superficial. They don't date outside the show. ALL seasons are like that. Its as if they are there to promote their businesses and careers.

The campfire actually did some damage to two people. Jeong Su was actually doing so well but now he has lost all the girls that were interested in him. One thing I have learned from that scene is don't be too vague. Its not always attractive. But also don't be too honest. Some things are better unsaid during the flirting stage. The second person actually hurts because I actually liked her. You Jin seemed like an overall positive person. I don't know if she felt insecure that she felt she needed to play games just to attract some attention. Her actions while they sat in the campfire seemed forced rather than genuine. Also, how do you sit next to the person you really like and then entertain the next person and the reason is to make him 'Jealous'. The last part about her swinging alone didn't come across to me as cringey though I think many of you might disagree. However, the producers did a good job for showing that scene briefly, its almost edited out, if indeed its embarrassing.
But I think what's different about You-Jin compared to Jeong Su is the alcohol. She let the alcohol get too much into her head. She was actually my favorite at the beginning so it hurts a little that she may actually lose that spark she had. Maybe she shouldn't drink too much. That's all I can say. I think her actions were a little reckless and its mostly due to alcohol.
However, many people think the campfire did a lot of damage than good but I think it was actually good in the long run. If you see someone at their raw form, you can decide if its someone you can get along in the long run. Most people find their differences after the show. No COUPLE in the entire singles inferno history got together after the show and lasted. That's a bit concerning because it throws the questions of how genuine the show is. But also the show is at fault because they mostly focus on the surface-level attraction. I mean every member looks like they are straight from a manga. It seems like a big factor to join the show is to be attractive. Even their careers such as acting, modelling etc looks like something that could greatly benefit from chasing clout.

Maybe I shouldn't judge the show too hard because that's probably what makes it sell to the larger audience.

I thought I was the only getting confused. Mind you I have been watching Kdramas and Kshows for years and still I got confused who is who. I know it is a korean beauty standard to look like they do. I think some may have done plastic surgery to be like that. The are few girls I can differentiate though. Like the one DEX says looks like Sana. And she does after observing her more.

I noticed Eun Jin is not there too. I think I will be skipping this one. They should have kept the same cast.

Wow, I loved until ep.4. Its really enjoyable. The actors are so good. The spaceship romance is a good concept. One that hasn't really been done. Thank You to LMH and GYJ for taking this drama.
I think the ratings doesn't do justice on how fun it is. People who are not enjoying this, I really have no words for you.

Yeah, that's why I called it petty because getting jealous won't really change anything. But I think having her tormented will make them feel they have let her know they don't like what she did. Its just a short-lived satisfaction not a permanent solution. But the ML mother has come too far now to even feel guilty. It was a conscious choice not really forced to evade the tax. So since she chose this path she shouldn't feel too bad. She will get her money and with time people will forget, I think that's all that matters. Something can be legal but it may not be morally correct like Cheating on your spouse, Breaking a promise to a friend, Using abortion as a birth control measure, etc. People may frown upon (Judge) but that's the best they can do.
So she should just live her best life. I mean she also knows its not the best decision she made. So acting like a victim of people criticism is a little far fetched.

Yeah, she was patient to wait for 15 years. But people don't really care of details like this. They just think its a little unfair she benefitted by legally evading the tax, which maybe they can't. Its all about fairness and equity. They feel like the law is a bit harsh on them while the rich can get away from taxes simply by piling up cashes to a given period and they're good.
Now, they feel like its unfair because maybe they're not in such a position to put away some cash because maybe in their lives they have to struggle to get money to afford their lifestyle so putting a significant amount of cash for such a long period like that seems like a far fetched dream.
