Four years later, and this is still a masterpiece to me. I haven't really met a show as good as this. It is at the top of my list. Someone who is watching it for the 1st time may have an idea of how the storyline unfolds through spoilers. But when I watched it had just premiered and we had no idea of what will happen next. The storyline and suspense was so intense that you could not skip a single episode. Is he a murderer? Is his family made of murderers? Why this? Why that? The show had an unique way to keep you locked without making you feel tired. No drag in the storyline. This is one show they got almost everything perfect. I still can't find any show that can challenge this on the top spot.
i want everyone to be killed the way min su dad was shot, so much selfish and they put on ML it was so worst,…
No, getting them killed is too easy. That's escaping punishment. Having them live a life full of remorse and regret is the best. Their killings comes from selfishness. They wanted to protect themselves. Having that taken away and making them suffer is better. Torture them so that they wish for death but never give it to them. They should live a life full of pain and misery. That's a perfect ending.
I was really on the side of Na Gyeom until episode 11. I liked how she was the only friend who decided to stick around even after Jeong U was imprisoned. She was the only who would visit him. She even went an extra mile to help hospitalize the ML mother. I thought her as someone who is ride or die. But she is no different from the rest. If she cared about ML, she should have come forward and claimed the ML was innocent from the two counts of murder. But no she didn't. Instead she watched the ML life fall apart. His dreams get shattered. She knew who killed the two girls and she decided not to speak up. Instead she wanted to damn the ML to hell and at the end of day come out as a hero for helping him from the hell he shouldn't even have had to go through. Now, after watching this episode and knowing she saw both two murders, I just think she's selfish and evil. If you love something or someone, you don't wish them harm. You protect them and even wish them the best and their happiness. Even if its not with you. What kind of love is that that causes harm to them?
No no they don't get to die and escape punishment. I feel very sorry for Bo Yeong. She suffered a lot. She was abused by her father. Raped by her friends. Betrayed by her mother. Killed by her elders. All she wanted was to move to a different place and start her own happy family. She didn't have any big dreams like having a lot of money. She just wanted to be happy. And all that was taken away. Death is too easy. They should be imprisoned and rot away. They should feel the consequence of their actions. They should get to regret for killing her. Killing off the murderer is too easy for a punishment.
Does FL have any importance or screen time? I don't feel like watching if it's only male testosterone raging on…
You're insufferable, LOL. Did you have to mention about male testosterone? That's so condescending. Anyway its your loss. Its a great series hence highly rated by MDL.
How impotent I feel watching this series. I got so angry that sometimes I had to pause to calm down. I suspected…
And even though JW had a wealthy background, he never bragged or made them feel small. He was there when they needed something. He would treat them and give them rides. He would even stick out for them e.g. when Su-O was getting bullied and would even defend their reputation for example when Da Eun was being called a whore. But in return for all that, they turned him into a murderer, made him an outcast in the community and severed the ties with his parents. He was imprisoned while they themselves were out there achieving their dreams, going abroad and what not.
The amount of betrayal in this show is enormous. Its hilarious how the people who betrayed the ML and called themselves his friends are acting like victims. I mean you all guys didn't care when you threw him under the bus and now that the table has turned, you feel wronged. Also, the people who were involved in the death of the girl are close friends to her parents. They stick around and watch them fall apart knowing fully well how their daughter died and who were involved. And interesting enough they are the first to throw the word 'murder' to the ML. Also, looking at things, the ML and his parents were extremely kind people. They didn't wrong anyone. And they even helped pay fees, lunches and trips for some of their children. But in the end, they even swindled their wealth in the name of 'compensation' such that Ha Seol was in disbelief of how rich the ML family was rich before the case. All this happened while everyone who called themselves friends were watching. People can be interesting.
I was stuck in ep 2 for almost a month because I could not commit to watch it. Then it took me at least a week…
Well, I have so many things going on and many dramas to catch on. This was down on my list. The first episode was not that eye catching to me. It was just sad. I could only empathize but had no urge to continue watching.
guyssss I am a big thriller mystery girlie. should I watch this show??? the plot and characters are worth watching???
I was stuck in ep 2 for almost a month because I could not commit to watch it. Then it took me at least a week to watch between ep 3-5. I would watch it then leave it hanging. But once I was in ep. 6 I couldn't drop it. I binge watched it up to ep 9. It became even more interesting. Now I can't wait for the new episodes. The suspense is killing me. So, you may not feel into it in the first episodes. But once you get into it, you're love it.
I am sorry it has been 7 episodes Lune is such an insufferable character I have tried to like him I really have…
I just think you find his character insufferable only because you don't find him relatable. I mean you can't fit yourself in his shoes. I think that's all. For some of us, we definitely can't agree with his choices but we can understand why he made them. It isn't even a matter of like and dislike for some of us.
ok while watching the show I noticed dex wearing red nail polishin recent eps, and I found it odd. I'm curious…
The sisters (Other cast members) love to play with applying nail polish for each other. Particularly, Jung Ah was applying nail polish on Dex's toes in the recent episode. I am sure you came across that episode.
One thing about actors like Kim Soo Hyun is that they never chose wrong script. Almost all his work are masterpiece.…
I am definitely sure he saw something from the script and chose it. Lets wait and see. Lets not judge the script writer based on their past work. Let's judge once its released.
I have watche this writer director work song of the bandits in netflix . But i did not like again they are collaborating…
One thing about actors like Kim Soo Hyun is that they never chose wrong script. Almost all his work are masterpiece. So I am not too worried there as I am sure it will turn out great. I am sure you also have actors you know they can never go wrong with the script they choose. Kim Soo Hyun can go even 2 years without any work if there are no attractive project.
How accurate is the portrayal of antisocial personality disorder? Does it actually add something or is it just…
Bro you're 8 years behind to have your question answered. The drama aired a long time ago. I loved it so it must be something. Try it and come give a feedback on whether it was or not portrayed accurately.
Todays episode was good! The kitchen scene...Last part was frustrating though. Come on Lune, don't let other girls…
Actually, I don't think he lied but he definitely didn't tell the entire truth. He went to the bathroom as he said but he didn't tell Star about the little conversation he had with Serah. So he hid some parts of the truth. Judging from Lune's character, he seems he doesn't want to hurt anyone. Considering Serah and Star are friends who feel like soul mates as they have similar interests, he may have felt weird to share the details as to avoid to strain the relationship. Yeah, he should have been a little selfish and honest with Star.
I never understood why a current girlfriend would get jealous or act jealous for stuff the boyfriend did in his…
I guess its more of a trust thing. Can Lune and Star trust Sera to keep the secret? You know the big elephant in the room is actually White now that Ivy knows. They have to find a way to tell him. If they manage to tell him and still maintain their friendship, then I don't think it matters anymore if everyone finds out.
