So underrated
What a ride! This drama was so good! I felt I was chasing this mastermind along with the leads! Both ml were so good with their role and the bromance was perfect! They really know how to work together!I’m not too fond of the fl, it took a while for her to settle for me, but she wasn’t too annoying. I’m just not a big fan of her.
This drama can get pretty suspenseful, it also scared me with some jump scare. There are lots of disturbing scenes, if you’re not into murders and child abuse, this might not be for you.
Ml cracked me up plenty of time! I love his playful mischievous role!
Hi highly recommend this drama.

I didn’t know what I was getting into when first watched this. Not to mention I didn’t know about MDL , at the time to write a review! I watched for Mike He and fell in love with Neo! Lol funny right? So let’s get into it.Story- it kept me engaged for sure! The suspense, the action, the comedy, the love story, it was all there! It kept me glued to the tv every episodes.
Acting- these actors delivered! From our young ML (❤️Neo) to every cast member, they nailed their characters!
Neo can fight, handle a gun, be comical, and boy can kiss! I thought they picked the right actor for Lian Pu. Who would think someone like Jian Zi to be such a bad ass right? Mike He delivered in his role as expected! Fl was fun to watch and the chemistry was perfect!
Music- the soundtrack was beautiful! Also I still have Neo’s song the Mask on my playlist, he can sing!
The ending was definitely hard to accept, if you think he died. I however don’t think so. I think it’s supposed to have a second season, but for some reason it just didn’t happen so I’ll just make my own up! To me he survived. I think the other group members came up with a plan to get him out of that car before it fell off the cliff, it’s to fake his death and set him free from being the head leader , but he will always be Lian Pu.

Romeo and Juliet with a twist!
My take on this is this is my favorite retelling of an old classic. A modern Romeo and Juliet with a wonderful happy twist. All the concept are still there, from the family conflict, to the overbearing cousin, the infamous poison that killed, the tragic deaths by suicide within the story. It’s all there! It however didn’t kill our main leads as they did both die once already! This was an ingenious spin off! I’d definitely call this a reincarnation of Romeo and Juliet! They finally fixed their love story!
It’s refreshing from the same old one night stand story telling. It has it all! Tragedy, drama, romance, comedy. If you don’t give this drama a chance you’re missing out on one damn good story telling! Yaya and Mario with their explosive chemistry , nailed their roles to the tee. This really brought out many different emotions in me, it also touched base on what’s really a reality in our society. I’ve rewatched this drama plenty times already and it just ended today. I’m sure going to miss Khla and Khim! Thanks Anne for pairing these two and giving viewers such a wonderful drama!
