It felt like Ive seen that story multiple times already. Didnt bring anything new.
Since you already watched Drawing Closer and Even If This Love Disappears Tonight, I'll suggest you watch 18×2 Beyond Youthful Days. The story is not completely identical to the movies you've seen. There was something new in there.
I gotta ask, since I've seen this in several J-dramas. Do people in Japan actually stand up and yell at people…
Maybe it really happens in real life since in almost all jdramas that I watch, their conversation always has "I look forward to it" then bow when agreeing to date someone.
I'm back here because I still can't move on. To those hating this drama because of cheating, listen...
I guess it's your first time watching a drama where the main leads are in the wrong. Yes, they're wrong. The cheating is wrong. I admit. But that's what I like about it. Because instead of rooting for the leads, they're stressing the viewers. Hating them but feeling bad for them. I was in dilemma. It's something new. I realized that we can't always have "righteous" main characters.
Also try Fight Song. I really love that one.
P.S., somehow I'm wishing that Suzuki Fuku is Ashida Mana's love interest here so it will be a Marumo no Okite reunion HAHA
