I watched this to the end and only 1 episode of the korean version. Judging both their 1st episode, for me, the japanese version feels more dramatic and painful. The kid in this version also played her character better. But I read that they have different endings.

Maybe try to watch both 1st episode before deciding which version to watch. That's what I do. Since people have different tastes.

Both have bittersweet ending. I prefer 18×2. Golden Kamuy is a must watch movie too. It's like One Piece.

I don't remember it being mentioned in the drama. But she's in her 20s. Maybe 25.

You can start by watching a japanese movie. I swear, they're not bad as many people believe because they don't even try one.

In fact, many famous and early kdramas are from a japanese source. Like "Boys Over Flowers", "200 Pounds Beauty", "That Winter the Wind Blows", "Smile Has Left Your Eyes", etc.

You can start jmovie with "18×2 Beyond Youthful Days" or "Drawing Closer" on Netflix. I'd like to know what a first time jdrama/jmovie watcher would feel. Hope you give it a shot.

Haven't seen it yet. I think you can watch it without seeing the previous seasons. But it would be better to see at least season 1 to see how everything started. I enjoyed it so maybe you would do too. Then you can skip the rest.
