I haven't seen the anime, but so far I'm liking it and binged watched 6 episodes. I'll most likely watch the anime…
I wrote this comment after only watching Ep 1. I wish they showed first the backstory of the children like in the anime. But after watching up to Ep 6, I decided to just trust the production. It's great so far though they cut so many scenes.
A film doesn't have to be morally right to enjoy or be entertained. It's just like watching a series where the protagonist is a robber or a criminal.
Yes, what the ML and FL have can be called cheating. The heart transplant can't be an excuse. But I still enjoyed it. The sceneries, the acting, the plot, the story flow, I love everything.
I searched if it is really possible to inherit the heart donor's memory. The answer I got from the internet is what this series also explained. I'm amazed.
So, I think the viewers should not rate a film base on their morals. The quality should be the basis here. It's actually boring to only watch about good people. I want to slap and curse the main characters too.
Well, it's just my opinion. But if you're not into this kind of complicated story, just don't give it a try.
Just got approved in Drama Otaku. Now, I can't wait to watch it.
For those who also want to get english subtitles, just register in DO. I think the registration is open for 1 day each month. I registered on Nov 5 then get approved by Nov 8. Just be sure to get notified once the slot is open.
I watched 1 episode of the 2007 version before but I stopped because of low quality. Too bad because I liked it but I only want to watch hd. Comparing this new version to the old, I would say that I prefer the latter. But I enjoyed this new version. I had many laughs but they cut so many scenes and they focused more on the romance than the father-daughter relationship.
Overall, I became a fan of Ai Iinuma. I love her expressions. She's great. I hope to see more projects.
Finally able to finish after putting it on hold because of how painful it is. I always want to watch something like this and Japan is giving life to the plots in my head. It is not perfect. It has its flaws but it will surely leave an impact to viewers.

This seems seems like a less serious version of 17.3 About a Sex. I liked that one and I decided to give it a try for Anna-chan and Mei-chan.
Shocked seeing the 20-year-old Anna Yamada in those scenes. At the same time impressed with her acting skill.
I realized that there are still a lot of great japanese films that I have to see. Most are kept unnoticed because of low rating like this one.
