Their interactions are everything. I don't think I've smiled this much or rewatched one scene so many times while watching a drama. This one is on a whole other level. I don't want it to end!
Disappointed with Netflix schedule—ah, I really wanted to watch it in HD quality, but I just can’t wait to watch the upcoming episodes, so I’ll watch them elsewhere!
I watched the first three episodes, and they were quite okay, but not what I would enjoy—all of this prejudice against her, her looks, etc. Does it change in the upcoming eps? If it does, I would continue it.
Qiqi hides her vulnerability and possessiveness, fearing not just that Song won’t love her real self, but that she can’t accept it either. This makes her project her insecurities onto him.
She knows he isn’t materialistic like her, yet instead of embracing their differences, she tries to reshape him into her ideal partner, ignoring who he truly is.
But it’s not just her fault—Song also holds back his true feelings. Their lack of honest communication creates a growing gap, making their relationship increasingly strained.
I read a few chapters of the manhua a while ago and I'm thinking of watching this, I want to ask does the ML do…
I think the series is from the fl’s perspective, which is why we see more of her personal life, her friends, and other aspects of her world. In contrast, we don’t get to see much of this from the ml’s side. I believe this is because, since the story is told from her pov, she’s just getting to know him again after meeting him after six years—and we, as viewers, are learning about him at the same pace as she is.
Oh interesting! I have yet to reach that part but it's hard for people to change drastically in a short amount…
The main couple is quite fine, but I’m not satisfied with the second couple. For me, it felt abrupt, perhaps because they didn't have much screen time. Someone mentioned below that it took him a year to fell. The timeline is a bit confusing for me. Also, what's novel love line ending?

oh...these timelines are so confusing. she kissed him, then they are back at their uni, and later he confessed to her. i thought this all happened withing 1 month span.
I sense WYF hesitates to commit her love for SY because she's afraid something terrible will happen again, and…
I think it's more about WYF feeling like she doesn’t deserve anything good. Ever since her father died, she’s been living with her relatives who made her believe she wasn’t worthy of happiness—especially her aunt. Even with small things, like buying a cake, she feels it’s a waste, as if she doesn’t deserve even minor joys.
This mindset could also apply to her feelings toward Sang Yan. Maybe she believes he’s too good for her, and she doesn’t deserve the kindness and love he offers. On top of that, as she mentioned in Episode 10, he was the only one who treated her well, yet she ended up hurting him. That guilt could be another reason she holds back—she’s afraid of hurting him again or feels unworthy of his affection.
