ARE YOU KIDDING ME šššššš I expected Li Zan to die and it would have been better than keeping…
I saw things differently at first, thinking his survival showed resilience. I thought you meant he should take his own life, but now I see what youāre saying. After rewatching some scenes, I realize how much he truly sufferedāhalf-dead when rescued, trapped in trauma, depression. I agree that a natural or battlefield death might have spared him the unbearable pain.
ARE YOU KIDDING ME šššššš I expected Li Zan to die and it would have been better than keeping…
Honestly, I am glad that he didn't die. By the end, yes he was suffering but he didnāt give up. He sought therapy, he accepted help, he tried to heal. Even when he was at his lowest, he still had the will to fight. He even went back to his father and asked to be hospitalized, knowing that it was a step toward recovery. That alone speaks volumes about his character.
This drama hit so hard. I donāt care what anyone else thinks about the endingāitās bittersweet, yes, but…
This drama also changed my perspective on war. It made me think not just about civilian suffering, but also about soldiers, volunteers, and their families. Their pain doesnāt end when the war doesāit lingers, haunts, and sometimes, never fades.
This drama hit so hard. I donāt care what anyone else thinks about the endingāitās bittersweet, yes, but itās realistic. No sugarcoating, no forced happy ending. Just raw, selfless love in its purest form. Itās not just a romanceāitās about love, loss, war, trauma, and survival.
I have no words for Chen Zhe Yuan. His portrayal of Li Zan felt so real that it didnāt even seem like actingāit was him. His journey unfolds in four distinct phases (as for me): 1. The strong and cheerful instructor ā confident, full of life, and an expert in his field. 2. The aftermath of the explosion ā completely shattered, both physically and emotionally. The change is so stark you can see his suffering. 3. A glimpse of recovery ā as he returns to the Eastern Country, he starts finding himself again, though heās still far from the man he once was. 4. Severe PTSD ā this phase is the most heartbreaking. He feels like a frightened child, completely consumed by his trauma. The way Chen Zhe Yuan portrayed thisāhis trembling, his vacant stares, the sheer terror in his eyesāit was devastatingly real.
Even though the script had a few weak moments, the acting, emotions, and storytelling overshadowed everything. The last episodes were so powerful that words canāt do them justiceāyou can only feel them.
Reading the synopsis for the first timeāmy dumbass thought it was a movie because of the name....turns out itās a series. Now Iām not quite sure whether to watch it or not.
I just watched the new trailer and he looks so hot, and Iām really excited for this drama now. I first watched him in new life begins, and I wasnāt quite sure if I would like him in this drama, but I was wrong. He looks mature, hot, and their chemistry ufff!!!
#.Question āā1. How many deep nudity and sexual content are there? Did Go Ara give any nude scene? 2. Is there…
the paintings contain nudity and sexual content scenes. there's a topless woman for a second in the first episode, other than that main cast was covered during the love scenes. the way ep 4 ended there's a possibility of love triangle. as for kiss, not yet, only with the ml.
Can we take a moment to appreciate CZY's acting? I've seen him in other dramas, but he truly impressed me here. Even though Iām not halfway through, I canāt wait to see more. Heās always been great, but heās improved a lot!
i also had the same disappointment. they be acting like the 5th sister is flawless. YX deserved better.
about that i read on xiaohongshu (chinese social media app) that the twins were too shy to perform and were clinged to their mother, that's why they couldn't show them.
i also had the same disappointment. they be acting like the 5th sister is flawless. YX deserved better.
same for me. It would also have be nice if they could have shown few romantic moments or even some interaction between them as a married couple, but the story was quite rushed.

Yes, there were. But seeing his character development by the end of the series was quite commendable, but we didnāt see that kind of development in the fifth sister. Honestly, after that, I feel that she didnāt deserve him.
