Loved it!
I was looking for a drama that wasn’t so concentrated on revenge for revenge sake.I laughed so hard thanks to Lee Si Young as Boo Tae Hee. At first Boo Tae Hee got on my nerves but she quickly grew on me. Then, as always Park Chul Min (hotel captain and butler)I just love him. He is so versatile in his characters and so refreshing to watch. He hasn’t yet failed to disappoint me. The kids were a nice touch.
Nam Koong Min, also never disappoints me. However, I think my favorite character of his will always be Ma Roo in Listen to My Heart.
The female and male leads were fun to watch.
I am glad I found this drama series.

Alzheimer’s stories are sad
When I first started watching this drama I wasn’t sure I would watch the whole series because I quickly get bored with power and greedy people who trample on the have nots. So when I saw that Min Namkoong was in it, I decided to watch it. Of course his acting doesn’t disappoint; yet his character was so psychopathic that I found myself FFing through some of his scenes and his minions. The actor that reeled me in was Yoo Seung-ho as Jin Woo and Park Sung Woong as Dong ho. I hoped that Jin Woo would get Dong Ho to see the error of his way, and was happy they ended on good terms. It was mostly Jin Woo though that kept me watching. It was sad enough that he had to deal with the wrongs committed against his father but he also had to deal with his Dad’s Alzheimer’s and his own. He just never lost heart.

Evils of the pharmaceutical industry
I will admit that I had a difficult time finishing this drama because there were so many evil people in it but Jang Hyuk is the reason I tuned in. If I had known that Ji Cheul would die I am not sure I would’ve finished it. Yet, I’m glad I watched the whole series because I ended up liking the whole cast, even the bad people. The series made me wonder about scientists thinking that their test subjects’ lives mean less than their work and that it’s for the greater good and not fame.

I started out watching this drama because, of course, Jang Hyuk. As usual Jang Hyuk doesn’t disappoint. However, this was the first drama of his that I’d love his character Dae Gil one minute and hate him the next. That’s how good JH was and I usually always root for whatever character JH portrays. Surprisingly this time, though, I didn’t want him to get the girl. However, I found myself more intrigued with Oh Ji-ho’s character Song Tae-ha and Lee Jong-hyuk’s character Hwang Chul-wong. They were friends who ended up on opposite sides.
I also enjoyed some of the side stories and supporting cast. The royal grandson was just adorable. Slaves fighting for their freedom. Dae Gil’s friends and loyal partners General Choi, Sang Won and Slanted Ear.
I’ll watch it again because of the main characters.

Jo Jae Hyun didn’t disappoint. He sure knows how to make me hate whatever character he’s portraying. Yet somehow he manages to still get me to root for him even for a second or two.One of favorite actors is Lee Gi Young ever since I saw him in Lovers. Unfortunately his character ended up dying. Even though his character was not nice I loved how he and Tae Jun were devoted to each other.
As hard as I tried I couldn’t get into the main character. I wish I could’ve seen more of what made Hy Gyeung fall in love with Jeung Hwan other than him being handsome. I could never forget that he was going to try to take his daughter away from Hy Gyeung. His excuse for trampling on people was that everyone does it; as if that makes it alright. He was an awful person. I felt he needed to die because he’d go back to being his awful self. Only time I liked him was when he was with his daughter.
I hated that Ho Sung allowed himself to be corrupted. I was surprised that I ended up hating him the most. I was happy that Hy Gyeung got to send him to prison.

Season 2
It took me about 3 episodes to adjust to the new cast members. Once I got into it I binge watched in two days. Other than Dr. Kim being my favorite character the rest of the new doctors really grew on me. I loved seeing Do In Beum back if only for a couple episodes. Also loved the ending. I have to admit I ff’d through a lot of Chairman Do’s scenes. I like the actor but I just hate misuse of power.Glad to see that Season 3 will start airing in little over two months. Also thrilled that the cast won’t change much.

I tuned in because of Hyun Woo
Disappointed that Hyun Woo’s character was killed off in the first episode. I quickly became bored because of all the people chasing after the money. Seo actually lets Tae Hyeon die for the money. Why she’d want to trust a man who cheats on his wife, who happens to be a friend is beyond me.The only character I ended up rooting for was Tae Woo. A shame he fell for Seo.
Anyway the chasing after the money just got tiresome. The plot devices were too predictable. I really tried to hang in there but it’s difficult when I really only liked one character.

Not going to waste too much time…
Because there’s nothing worse than wasting time on a drama when the evil characters take over the show.I started getting frustrated after episode 7 and the middle of episode 8 when the Chairman was bought off. I’m ffing all the bad guy BS.
Decided nope not going to waste too much time on the rest of the episodes. First Tae Ho gets a press conference claiming Jun Ho killed everyone only to have survivors show up. Come on, give viewers a break with such nonsense. I can’t stand it when the drama gives so much time to the bad guys. If you’re going to do this please let it make some sense.

Accentuated My Mistrust of MSM
I couldn’t really get into HUSH in the first episode but I am glad I hung in there. The premise of this drama really intrigued because I hoped that there are journalists like the 6 journalists that exposed the behind the scenes of mainstream media.
My biggest disappointment was that the Chief Na Sung Won really didn’t suffer any consequences even though he was the most evil.
That the six journalists left to start their own news outlet was what I was hoping for and was happy to see it come to fruition.

I’m going to have to watch again
I had to watch the ending a couple times because I didn’t know what to make of the ending. So I thought and thought about it and found I loved it so much I almost cried. I wish I could explain how moving the relationship between father and son at the end versus pre amnesia. Oh my gosh. Kim Myung Min and Choi Ii Hwa as father and son. So few words needed to be spoken. Kim Seo Joo had me sobbing when his father Kim Shin Ii tells him he was always proud of him he just didn’t agree with his son’s work.So for me the story wasn’t in the works of lawyers protecting conglomerates as it was in how Kim Seo Joo was more like his father than I expected. That they found their way back to each other.
I’m going to have to watch it again.

Perfect portrayal of high school drama
I really don’t know to express how much I liked this drama. I appreciated that it wasn’t dragged out and that it was mainly kept to the students dealing with each other with very little interference.I liked how the friendship contract turned the five students into real friends. The boyfriend/girlfriend relationship was so sweet and innocent.
I enjoyed watching them joke around with each other. Saddened by those who felt lost out in which it drove them to extreme measures because they felt left out. Kindness in the end won out.

Loved it!
I have to start with Yoo Joon Sang’s performance in this drama. The actor never disappoints me. One minute he’d have me hating him, then the next he’d have me laughing my head off.I usually get tired of the wealthy family and their machinations a quarter way through the drama . I think what kept me watching was the dynamic between Han Jung ho and everyone around him. The parents’ obtuseness when it came to their children especially his son cracked me up. Yet they became typical grandparents when it came to Jin young.
I do think it was a little draggy but the ending was perfect because Jung Ho still didn’t get it even after his wife left him. Not that she was any better with her children than he was. Their inability to accept any responsibility for their actions no matter how many times they were told it always came down to blaming Bom.
I also liked how the music would be kind of eerie in the house when the parents were somewhere close or about to enter a room.
I’ll probably watch it again.

How Could I Not Love This drama
How could I not love this drama when two of my favorite actors Namkoong Min and Yoo Joon Sang are the male leads.I have to admit though that there were times I got frustrated with how long it took to solve Han Chul Ho’s murder. There’s a point where I always think too much time is given to the bad guys. Plus I was disappointed that the elders weren’t exposed.
Aside from that I think this is now my favorite Namkoong Min drama. Han Moo Yeong has replaced my all time favorite character from Listen to My Heart or Can you hear my heart Bong Ma Roo/Jang Joon Ha.
I don’t think there’s a drama I haven’t liked of Yoo Joon Sang’s. Watching Namkoong Min and Yoo Joon Sang work side by side was such a treat for me. A shame there was no season 2 so the elders could be revealed to make them suffer for the wrong they did to innocent children and seeing these two work together again.
I also have to give kudos to the whole cast.

Karma can be a bitch
First I have to give kudos to Lee Jin Wook. He’s one of my favorite actors. However, he was riveting in this drama. For me there was nothing better than watching the entitled 4 turn on each other and lose everything. The entitled 4 were so narcissistic. I hate to say it but I felt that Oh Tae Suk should’ve suffered the same demise as Kim Hak Bum. I kept wanting Kang In Ho to show at least an nth of remorse at least for his family. Of the four my heart went out to Seo Joon Hee - he seemed to be the only one who finally got it and was willing to pay for his crimes.
I was also moved by Geum Na Ra. It was bad enough how she learned about her husband’s affair but then to find out that he was responsible for the death of a 9 year old and wasn’t willing to accept responsibility. Sadly he got off too easily.
Choi Ja Hye’s scheme for revenge was perfection as the entitled 4 turn on each other and made her revenge scheme that much easier.

Took Me a while to get into it but then…
The first couple episodes were somewhat off putting because the oldest kids were off putting. I never did warm up to the selfish oldest son; his whiny wife or mother in law. However, if it weren’t for Kang Sim and Tae Ju I don’t know if I would have finished this drama. In the end, I’m glad I did watch all the episodes. Sure the In law Moms were somewhat meddlesome so I just FF’d through it if they were too ridiculous.A shame more time wasn’t given to Soon Bong and Bok Ja.
My favorites ended up being Tae Ju, Kang Sim and Eun Ho.
What I loved the most was Soon Bong’s mission to bring his kids back to realizing that being family and having fun was the most important.
