Not going to lie, it was kind of creepy that FL made a move and kissed Pi-o after he revealed Jeong-Yo died. Like, he is in his lowest emotional state and exposing his vulnerability. There was no way he was mentally all there when they kissed
Pi-o and Jeong-Yo are so mature and intelligent; their friendship is so pure. It is sad to see it get ruined because the "adults" in the show act like children
I see people hating on Pio's mom but i can't help but see the gradnfather as the main villain. I think je has…
The whole family is the villain. It is a circle of hate and need for validation. The grandfather hates his daughter and Pi-O because she had a child out of wedlock while the mother hates him because he abandoned her and her mother but still craves his validation and approval and his using Pi-O to get that. They are both super evil. Also let us not forget the step mother who is high key trying to take Jeong Yo under their wing and replace Pi-O.
Pi-o is just stuck in the middle trying to make his mother proud and prove to his grandfather he wasn’t a mistake. It just freaking sucks his situation
I love that they are setting this drama to be ambiguous. Like if you want it to be a BL it lowkey can and if you are in it for the bromance it is there in abundance.
Obvious they would not do a BL outright due to the controversy and how conservative korean media is but they are doing a pretty good job rn.
Also, no kissing scenes are needed. Them playing piano together and playing the keys on each other back is more intimate than that 🤣
it's not for you then, just don't watch if you don't like the story? and you think people didn't cheat or tell…
I think you are getting very emotional about this.
@redshoe is correct, cheating has been prevalent in many stories in history. The story of the Iliad, one of the oldest stories in history literally started because Helen fell in love with Paris and ran away from her husband to be with him and kicking off the trojan war.
Is that not cheating? Was it truly for survival or did she just cheat on her husband?
They did us dirty with the writing in the last four episodes, but overall I enjoyed the drama, and Eun-Bin and Se-Jong did a great job with their characters and chemistry.
I see people are saying this is the worst drama in 2026, but Dynamite Kiss, No Tale to Tell, and Our Universe exist lol
One thing I really appreciate about this drama, they finally casted teenagers to play high schoolers which you barely see anymore and that whenever the trio fought any of the gangsters they beat the shit out of them without much effort.
Like, am i really supposed to believe Ju Gang Chan who is just a gangster can put up a fight against Kim who is a North Korean agent who was trained to kill and complete impossible missions?
Most of the people they fought were just big fishes in a small pond and they finally meet some killer sharks.
This is a weird show. I don't get what it is about? Th ghosts seem to have disappeared and now we are in a weird…
It is honestly due to poor writing. It seems they are unable to balance the plot with the chaebol drama, romance and the ghosts together which kind of makes no sense because it should have all worked together (why did Yeo-Ri not use ghosts to her advantage to get votes?)
TBH because of the leads and how fun I was having with the drama I was willing to let go of weird plot lines like the heart transplant because it is a supernatural show but the writing has let us down these last two weeks where criticism is very fair
I am glad they are not pretending this drama will be fluffy so people will watch it. This premise seems messy, and it is great that they are portraying that in the trailer and posters so far
This company subplot is pretty annoying tbh. I think the issue is that her family is incompetent except for Yeo-Ri and her grandmother, so it really feels like a waste of time
Someone can explain why some more seniors actors have such a hard time in getting leading roles (Gong Seung-yeon…
Because there are many steps when auditioning and casting for a role. Actors usually do rounds of auditioning where they act in front of casting directors, do screen test, chemistry tests to see if someone is fit for a role like the FL.
I won’t act like i know the exact process for this drama but i disagree that roles should go to more senior actors because they are seniors. All actors whether they’re junior or senior should get the same opportunity in auditioning for a role and the person best fit should be chosen and I think that may have been the case.
I do agree though Gong Seung Yeon deserves a lead role
I'm a little disappointed about the reveal of the reason why Ganguk's grandma was in the island, I thought she…
I think there maybe more, she seems very spiritually aware. She knew that Gang Uk would be in danger if he left the house the day he got hit by a car, and to not marry a woman born in the year of the black monkey.
Also in the last episode, Ji Hwan had a necklace which was given by his “grandma” which was to keep him safe and he died when he didn’t have it on... They never really said who his grandma was but I have a feeling it may have been Gang Uk’s grandma seeing that their families know each other
He would have gone a lot farther with his search by saying “he is my best friend and I am still looking for him, please help me find him”
I cant help but feel the grandfather failed at playing and that is why he is now a conductor and as taking out that frustration on Pi-o
Pi-o is just stuck in the middle trying to make his mother proud and prove to his grandfather he wasn’t a mistake. It just freaking sucks his situation

Seeing it with this drama and My Royal Nemesis. Both of those started off so well but got dragged by the same issue
