Wu Lei plays a much more lively/natural/youthful role in "Nothing But You". He's a 22 year-old in that one. In…
Thanks, Divine, I’m seeing that difference already, 3 episodes into “Nothing But You.” Characters are completely different—the mark of a great actor! I’m impressed by the FL, who presents as a full, adult woman, and none of this squeaky, whiny, cutesy crap—drives me crazy! Looks like I'm in for a treat! Be well!
I just discovered this young actor in “Amidst A Snowstorm of Love.” Had it on my Watchlist, but not always happy with Cdramas: Amateurish Acting, Unromantic-romance, and copious episodes. The reviews on MDL, enticed me to watch (AASOL). A wise choice! Leo was fabulous, as are the other main and supporting casts. His non-verbals were remarkable. I found him very mature, but shocked by his youthful age. However, I saw where he’s been acting since birth almost, and has a large body of work. I’m starting “Nothing But You” tonight. Hope I won’t be disappointed.
I'm in the last 5 episodes and I just wanted to say how much I loved this. I'm appreciating how much Cdramas are…
Agree with you! I just finished “Amidst A Snowstorm of Love” this morning, and noticed a vast improvement in the storyline, picture quality, and acting—especially in the female characters. More maturity! The romantic scenes in Cdramas need a little spice. When the FL said her cycle was late, my neck almost spun around: “WHEN?” “HOW?” She spent a lot of time shying away. I don’t want porn, but passion, at least! Still I loved the show!
lol literally let's not forget this is not Hollywood. 800M per episode is obviously not a realistic value even…
One’s value is what another is willing to pay. If his WORK attracts viewers, his worth increases. In that business, there’s always a newcomer snipping at your heels, so you make the big bucks while you can. What I like, is his willingness to lower his fees, as appropriately needed.
I just feel he feels insecure abt his own feelings towards tsumugi. I mean with all that reason he's saying why…
I felt the same, Maria; that he was letting her go faster, especially after that smiling, tender dialogue on memories of Sakura. Minato saw what was heading his way.
You’re right! It is my go-to romance drama! Brilliantly done! Have watched greater than 10 times. Since discovering…
Thanks, GW! Have watched both: “OSN” about 10 times, as well, the last was 6 weeks ago. Although, a different director. Started “Secret Love,” again on yesterday. Just discovered it several months ago. LOVE THEM BOTH! Always enjoy great recommendations!💛
When it comes to ageism, in playing the character’s younger self, the production company cares about one thing: Budget! They expect them to pull it off, that’s why it’s called “acting,” vs “Believe it or not.”
I am a bit late to this drama. Can anyone spoil me who is the murderer?
I’m waaay late, too! It’s amazing how a current drama can lead a viewer to “ancient” works, that turn out to be really great! In the process, you get to compare an actor’s skills for growth. Enjoying this show; half-way done.
Welcome to Samdal-ri” is one of the best shows I’ve seen of the K-Dramas! It is well done and deals with love and conflicts, in a town setting. Thoroughly enjoyed—beginning to end! Great acting!
