Be warned: violence, drugs, and SA in prison scenes make this a heavy watch, but it’s worth every second. 8.5/10.
Yes, he was taken against his will, and yes, people are trying to kill him—I’m not denying that. But you’re missing the actual point. I’m not talking about the chaos in episode 1. I’m talking about after that—episodes 2 through 11—when he’s clearly safe and functioning just fine. He’s sword fighting, hiking, flirting, and taking romantic midnight strolls with Charan. So let’s not act like he’s trapped in a dungeon scribbling SOS notes.
And as for episode 12—how is that even relevant? That’s a future episode. My entire point is about the time he’s already spent in the palace, when he was safe. Whatever threats come later don’t excuse months of silence earlier.
Now, let’s forget Khanin for a second and talk about you. Are you seriously saying that if you were taken against your will, you’d never try to contact your family or friends again? Not even once? No quick message, no email, nothing? That’s a huge stretch—and deep down, you know that.
This isn’t about justifying plot holes—it’s about basic human decency.
By the way, I’ve watched all 11 episodes too, and just to clarify: Khanin wasn’t kidnapped. In episode 1, the black-masked men tried to kidnap him, but Charan stopped them. After that, Khanin left the country and took on his role as prince.
Yes, I totally get he had a lot on his plate—emotional damage, guilt over his adoptive father’s death, adjusting to palace life. That was all in episode 1. But you’re telling me that from episode 2 to 11, months later, after he’s settled in, gone clubbing, hiking, practiced fencing, archery, and even had time for secret romantic escapades with Charan—he still couldn’t find five seconds to message his childhood friends back home?
You keep going back to the “he was kidnapped” excuse, but that was at the very beginning. He’s been safe, surrounded by palace guards, with full Wi-Fi access for months now. If he has time for clubbing, he definitely has time to send a “Hey, I’m alive” message.
But hey, priorities, right?
I just finished the first 3 episodes of ABO Desire, a Chinese BL that aired yesterday, and wow—they’ve done a way better job explaining the Omegaverse universe and really focusing on it throughout the story.
At least in episode 11, Prince Calvin showed up at Jay’s house in person to explain that he’s a prince and apologize to Jay even though they didn’t fully reconcile, he tried.
Meanwhile, Prince Khanin? Nothing. I get that they’re in different country and he couldn’t just show up in person—but a quick 5-second message? That’s really not asking much.
And let’s be real—he had a lot on his plate, sure. But he still had time to sleep with his security guard and, when things didn’t go his way, run to his grandpa and make a dramatic scene. So clearly, time wasn’t the issue. You’re telling me that in between all that, he couldn’t shoot off a quick “Hey, I’m alive, sorry for ghosting”? Come on.
Also, I wasn’t saying Facebook or SIM cards are the only options—they were just examples. There are hundreds of ways to contact someone: WhatsApp, email, even a quick DM on MDL if it came to that.
My point is, it’s just not believable that he’d live in London for two decades, then suddenly vanish and not bother to send even a “hey, I’m alive” message. Like… Wi-Fi existed, and so did common sense.
Like… I’ve lost my phone before. It’s not that deep. You get a new SIM or literally just find Wi-Fi and message someone. Facebook still exists, shockingly. One quick “Hey, didn’t die, just fled the country” update would’ve done the job.
But no — let’s just vanish into thin air like a ghost and leave everyone in London to think you got kidnapped or fell off a cliff. Not mysterious. Not dramatic. Just selfish.
Seriously, a five-second Facebook message could’ve saved everyone the emotional trauma. But go off, I guess. 🙄
So, Shang Shao You paid for Hua Yong’s sister’s surgery — they specifically mentioned it was for bed 291.
Later on, when Gao Tu asked for an extension, the hospital staff told him the fees were already covered… by Shen Wen Lang. And guess what? That was also room 291, and also for 600,000 yuan.
Now, I work in finance so my brain immediately zeroed in on those numbers — and I had to rewind and double-check. 😂
So now I have questions.
Are we saying both of them coincidentally have sisters in the exact same hospital bed with the exact same bill? That feels a little too convenient. Either they’re secretly talking about the same person… or two sisters are somehow sharing room 291 (which seems highly unlikely in a private hospital scenario).
I’m intrigued — is this a plot hole or is something deeper going on here? 👀 Anyone else catch this?
If you truly love and support BL content, please consider watching through legal platforms like Viki, WeTV, iQIYI, or by subscribing to the show’s official YouTube channel (Durian Culture). Episode 1 is also free to watch.
🎬 The actors, crew, and creators poured their time, energy, and talent into bringing this story to life. They deserve to be supported — not pirated.
Watching on illegal sites is not only unlawful, but also incredibly disrespectful to the production team and to fans who choose to support the series the right way.
Promoting or normalizing piracy doesn’t just hurt the industry — it directly affects the people working behind the scenes, from cast members to editors, stylists, and writers. It reduces funding, discourages investment, and limits future productions.
If we want to see more quality BL in the future, the best thing we can do is support it through legal means. That’s how the industry grows — and honestly, it’s the least we can do as fans.
Let’s respect the work and passion that went into making these stories possible. 💙

You spend your whole life in London, form close friendships, go to school, build relationships — and then one day, strangers try to kill you and your father. So you flee to Thailand, and apparently, that’s the end of that. No one notices you’re gone. then… crickets? No calls? No texts? Not even a dramatic group chat message? Not even one “Hey bro, are you alive??” on Facebook? Apparently, once Khanin lands in Thailand, his entire London life just hits delete.
The writers really said: “Let’s just forget his entire existence in London ever happened.” Like… okay? Realism who? Continuity what?
