OMG, episode 1 was such a green flag for me, and now I can’t wait to see Big Jane become the red flag. I’m all in. Give me the intensity, the toxicity, and the thrilling emotional roller coaster.
One tip for anyone watching on Viki or GagaOOLala. Make sure you stay until after the credits because there are additional scenes at the end of the episodes, and you definitely do not want to miss them. There is a hot NC scene post credit in epsidoe 3!

First, we have Zhen Xin and Zhang Zhun as two straight actors but slowly in love. Then, within the story they’re filming, we get Dr. Fang Chi and patient Gao Zhun. It feels like you’re watching two different romances unfold at the same time, which makes the series so fresh and engaging.
The hot NC scenes are an added bonus, but what really stands out is how well the concept is executed. This series is genuinely so good, and it’s seriously underrated.
Honestly, this already feels like a happy ending. The next nine episodes are definitely going to be brutal because there's no way a storm isn't coming.
This series is so good. I don’t understand why it’s only rated 7.6. So many other shows with weak plots and cringe sound effects get ratings of 8 or 9, while underrated series like this end up being hidden gems.
Thank goodness we get two episodes every week because only one would be pure torture.
Now it's time to wait 700 years for the next episode. 😭
Do we have an MDL page for The Pathological Lovers?
At first, I felt a bit conflicted about Xiao Fan entering a fake marriage and then falling in love with his brother in law. Even though the marriage was fake and they never had a real intimate relationship beyond the title, it still felt a little wrong. Now that we know Lu Xin isn’t the older brother’s biological sister, I honestly feel much better about where the story is heading.
On top of that, he completely overshadowed his friend's birthday. It was her special day, her moment to celebrate. If he wanted to propose at someone else's event, the least he could have done was ask for permission first. Imagine someone randomly showing up at your birthday just to propose to their ex. The entire focus shifts away from the person the celebration was actually for. Lion's actions just didn't make sense to me.
The bright spot was seeing Kanit and Toto become boyfriends. Their relationship is a reminder that money cannot buy happiness. Toto may not have luxury cars or endless wealth, but he never betrayed Kanit's trust and loved him with his whole heart. Sometimes, happiness is found in the simplest gestures. Singing in a restaurant, giving a handmade gift, or placing a flower garland around the person you love can mean far more than any expensive present.
At the end of the day, I'd rather be truly happy with the right person than live surrounded by luxury with someone who makes me feel alone. Love is not measured by the price of a gift, but by the sincerity of the heart that gives it.
A spoiler is information that is already known or confirmed. For example, if the ending is that he eats chicken and I reveal that before it happens, that’s a spoiler.
But if I’m simply guessing that he might eat beef, pork, or fish, that’s just speculation. A guess can be right or wrong, but it isn’t a spoiler because it doesn’t come from confirmed information.
If someone replies to my comment and they already know the answer because they’ve read the novel, then yes, they should absolutely use a spoiler tag before revealing anything. But if someone else replies with their own guesses or theories, that’s still just speculation, not a spoiler. That’s called having a discussion.
We’re here to discuss the show. That’s the whole purpose of the MDL forum. People should be able to share theories, predictions, and assumptions without being told to add spoiler tags when there are no actual spoilers.
Please don’t be the spoiler police and tell people to use spoiler tags when it’s just speculation and discussion.
