I wonder why iQIYI hasn't updated the Mandarin version yet.. only the Thai version? Thankfully I can also watch…
Thank God for GagaOOlala as a backup. I tried watching it in Thai but couldn’t stick with it, so I switched to GagaOOlala and it was so much better with their natural voice.
Wow, episode 5 was over 75 minutes and I wasn’t bored for a second. Such a mature BL with mainly experienced actors, it’s such a refreshing change from the usual high school/uni trope. Krailert was a top in episode 3 but a bottom in episode 5, and I love the versatility. My only complaint is that there are only 8 episodes. I really wish it were 12. This show truly deserves more recognition. Honestly, Be On Cloud should’ve released it on iQIYI instead of WeTV. When they put KinnPorsche on iQIYI, it became the number 1 show in over 100 countries.
We both just finished Revenged Love. FYI Because of the different Chinese accents, the male lead Tian Xu Ning, who played Chi Cheng, had his voice dubbed even though he speaks fluent Chinese. It was dubbed to keep the accent consistent.
It’s the same version, but the Taiwan release has their natural voices in Mandarin, while the Thai release is dubbed. Both come with English subtitles. I prefer the Taiwan version since I like hearing their real voices, but I couldn’t wait any longer, so I’m watching the Thai version for now.
No idea what happened to iQIYI tonight, the first 7 episodes were always on time
Episode 8 is already available on iQIYI in the Thai version, but not yet in the Taiwan version. I know it’s a bit frustrating, but I’m watching the Thai one right now. Illegal sites already have it, but I’d rather support them, so I’m sticking with iQIYI.
I like this drama a lot. It's definitely what I would consider "slop," so it's not high-brow entertainment,…
You should definitely check out the behind-the-scenes! Wang, who plays JunXi, actually had his very first kiss in real life while filming, and Chance (HanTuo) was the one who taught him how to kiss. The kisses are real and genuine, and they’re both so cute together off-camera. No wonder it feels so natural and good when we watch it on screen.
Who knew a boring school subject could turn into such a great series? GMMTV really said, “hold my beer, let me show you.” They took something so ordinary and made it feel fresh, fun, and full of heart. It’s simple yet amazing, and I’m absolutely loving it!
Did I just watch an hour of two souls simply existing together, fixing a house, sharing quiet moments, and holding space for one another? It was tender, warm, and filled with a kind of love that felt so real it almost hurt to watch. Their slow journey from separate rooms into one bed was so natural, never forced, just two hearts quietly finding their way to each other.
Jimmy and Sea’s characters are the purest, healthiest couple I have seen, untouched by jealousy, villains, or unnecessary drama. And then came the moment that broke me. In (Sea) finally opened up about the tragedy of losing his parents. His voice carried the weight of years of grief, and in that fragile moment, you could feel his loneliness bleeding through. Thap (Jimmy) didn’t try to fix it, he simply stayed, listened, and became the strength In could lean on. When he wiped away In’s tears and held him while he was breaking, it was love in its truest and most painful form.
And yet, that is the cruelty of love. To see someone so broken and to love them so deeply, knowing that no matter how tightly you hold them, you cannot erase their past, nor can you promise to keep them forever. Watching In cry in Thap’s arms felt like watching love and grief become the same thing. It was beautiful, but it was also unbearably tragic, because sometimes the greatest love stories are the ones that remind us just how fragile happiness truly is.
Can someone explain me the per and knight's parents' situation... Its kinda confusing? Is the father having 2…
It was explained in episode 7 that Knight and Per share the same father but have different mothers. So yes, he has two wives. It’s interesting because in Australia it’s illegal to have more than one wife or husband, so I’m assuming it’s legal in Thailand.
Me encanta leer opiniones tan diferentes a las mías,a mi al contrario me gusto bastante el drama, antes de verlo…
I just finished episode 8 and honestly, it’s probably the best episode so far. I even bumped my rating up from 3.5 to 5.5. The drama as a whole still isn’t really for me, but I have to admit the cute ending won me over enough to give it an extra two points.
I’m not defending Knight, he was drunk, and thank god SA didn’t happen.
But let’s be honest, how many times have we seen a BL where one male lead kisses the other while they’re asleep? I can name hundreds. For example, in The Nameless Season (current airing Korean BL), DoWan kissed JaeYul while he was sleeping in episode 4. Or in Exclusive Love (Taiwan BL), Tang DuZhi kissed WangZhan while he was asleep.
Of course, I know it’s not right and that consent is important, but many BL dramas use this trope. At the end of the day, we have to remember these are fictional stories, not real life.
What really bothered me in episode 5 was the way the girl explained it, the flashback was shot as if Mild had been raped. That scene felt completely unnecessary and a poor directorial choice.
I watched the trailer again and just imagined the possibilities if Chinese censorship wasn’t holding things…
I agree with you, China without censorship will produce the best BL.
Revenged Love is already our masterpiece for 2025.
I truly hope China 🇨🇳 lifts the BL ban one day, because when it comes to potential, Thailand 🇹🇭, South Korea 🇰🇷, Japan 🇯🇵, and Taiwan 🇹🇼 are no match. China dominates in so many areas, cinematography, acting, storytelling, chemistry and let’s not even get started on their costume dramas and fight scenes. No one does it like China. The scale, the elegance, the intensity, it’s on another level.
The Untamed was heavily censored and still pulled in billions of views. Imagine the power of a high-quality, uncensored Chinese BL. Here’s hoping that in the next 20 plus years, a new generation of leadership in China will be more open and accepting. The talent is already there; they just need the freedom to truly let it shine.
Dear All, I really ask you that even if this drama would not have a happy ending please do not vote it down. This…
Don’t worry, this has been a 10 for me since episode 1, and after episodes 6, 7, and 8 it only keeps getting better. For me, if a series delivers on plot, acting, chemistry, and cinematography, then it deserves a 10. The fact that we’re getting a historical costume BL drama, something so rare, already makes it special. I really don’t understand why some people lower their rating just because of a sad ending. By that logic, every drama should have a happy ending, which isn’t realistic. In real life, there are both happy and sad endings, and dramas reflect that truth. So let’s be fair and judge based on the quality of the story, not just whether the ending makes us smile or cry.

This is honestly so good. Such a shame more people aren’t watching this masterpiece. I remember when some called…
Totally agree with you! Some shows really do take time to shine. I actually remember hating the first two episodes of ThamePo, but I stuck with it and it ended up becoming one of my favourite Thai BLs of the year. It’s the same with this series, people jump to conclusions too quickly, but once the story unfolds it’s honestly a masterpiece.
Episode 8 left me completely heartbroken. The Crown Prince’s betrayal was devastating, turning against his own father, the King, and then setting his sights on his own brother in his ruthless pursuit of the throne. Such cruelty is not uncommon in kingdoms, yet witnessing it unfold carried a heavy weight. And when the Crown Prince was finally stabbed and sent falling from the bridge, it was Huo Ying who caught him, holding him one last time. Seventeen years together as master and servant, yet beneath it all, there was love. To watch the man he had dedicated his life to die in his arms must have been unbearable.
And then came the final kiss between DuanZiang and ShuHe, a kiss so hauntingly beautiful yet unbearably tragic. It was not a kiss of beginning, but one of ending, sealing their fate with sorrow. Two princes, bound by love but separated by kingdoms, both destined to become kings, yet their union could only break them. That single moment carried more pain than words could capture. This episode was filled with grief, betrayal, and love that cannot be, and I cannot wait for the next episode, though my heart is still aching from this one.
The sixth prince Shuhe, with trembling hands meant for music, painting, and dance, tried to push DuanZiang away to shield him. Those hands, once born only to create beauty, were now bloodied and torn under the cruelty of his own brother, the Crown Prince. Yet still he pushed, still he tried to protect.
But DuanZiang stood firm. His voice, steady in the storm, carried the weight of his heart: “I’m not leaving. In this world, nothing else matters to me. If I cannot use my skills to protect you, then what worth do they hold?”
And then came the moment, fragile yet eternal. Tears fell, a kiss so gentle it trembled, arms entwined in desperate embrace. It was raw, tender, and achingly sweet. If this is not love, then love itself has no meaning.
I never imagined I would live to see the day when a kiss could bloom, unshackled, in a historical drama. Yet episodes 6 and 7 delivered with breathtaking beauty. That first kiss in episode 6 was unforgettable, as though years of unspoken longing between DuanZiang and Prince Shuhe finally spilled over. Their chemistry was fire and ache, intensity and tenderness woven into one timeless embrace.
A thunder of applause for this gift, the first uncensored historical kiss. Perfectly framed, carried by music, tender and breathtaking, it was not just a scene, it was history etched in beauty.
