Maybe I should give up. I can't for the life of me concentrate on this series. It's just airing on the wrong day…
A lot of shows air at 3am in my local time, so I usually just watch them the next day or add them to my calendar to catch up later in the week.

Most episodes are only around 25 minutes — you don’t have to watch them live when they air.
You can easily fit it in during a lunch break or whenever you’ve got a free moment over the next few days.

Episode 18 was one of my favourite episodes so far — the acting from all the leads was absolutely top notch.
However, there’s one scene I didn’t fully understand, and I haven’t read up to this part in the novel yet, so I’m a bit lost.

I can’t read Chinese, so can someone please explain what was going on during Guo Cheng Yu’s birthday scene?

All four were present — Chi Cheng, Guo Cheng Yu, Wang Shuo, and Wang Shuo’s brother. I’ve got a few questions:
1. Why did Wang Shuo’s brother throw water at Wang Shuo? Was it because he was following Chi Cheng while singing? Why was that such a big issue?
2. Did Chi Cheng get angry and storm off because of the two text messages he saw? What exactly did those texts say? I couldn’t read them.
3. Then Chi Cheng suddenly started hitting Wang Shuo’s brother — why didn’t Guo Cheng Yu try to break it up?
Instead, he joined in and helped hit Wang Shuo’s brother too. It’s literally his birthday, and they’re all fighting with zero communication.
4. And finally, Wu Suo Wei and Jiang Xiao Shuai showed up. I’m guessing this is another classic miscommunication?
Did Wu Suo Wei think Chi Cheng was defending his ex because the water was thrown on him — when in reality, it was those text messages that triggered the fight?

Can someone clear this up for me? It was chaotic, but I really want to understand who misunderstood what.

Here’s a poem because I’m bored 🥳

Hua Yong —
on the outside, soft-spoken and fragile,
like he could break with a single touch.

But underneath that quiet surface
lies the sharpest mind,
the most dangerous kind of strength —
the kind you never see coming.

He’s the one pulling strings in silence,
the true power behind every move.

And honestly?
I can’t wait for the scene where he ends getting the Alpha’s pregnant with his child.
That moment is going to change everything.

Shoulda told them "calm your tits" 😂
I’ve got my essay and poems all backed up, but some people still don’t seem to get it.
Anyway, here’s the poem I wrote yesterday — hope you enjoy it.

At the 29‑minute mark in Episode 17, Wang Shuo asks Chi Cheng if he still loves him.
Chi Cheng doesn’t give a direct answer—he simply kicks Wang Shuo out the door.
Many viewers see this and wonder:
Why is Chi Cheng still thinking about his ex?
Why is he dating Wu Suo Wei if he’s still in love with Wang Shuo?

But it isn’t that simple.

Chi Cheng isn’t in love with his ex anymore—he’s haunted by betrayal and trauma.
His father took his beloved pet.
He believes his best friend betrayed him.
And now, he’s facing the crushing truth that Wu Suo Wei—someone he thought was pure and genuine—was secretly plotting against him.

He’s carrying scars, not love.
That’s why his walls are so high.
His journey isn’t about choosing between two people—it’s about whether he can learn to trust and love again.

Remember, he believes his ex cheated with his best friend, and they were together for over 7 years.
Even in real life, you can’t just erase someone you spent that long with, especially when betrayal is involved.
Wu Suo Wei has only been in his life for a few months—compare that to 7+ years of history, trust, and heartbreak.
It’s unrealistic to expect Chi Cheng to just “forget” overnight.

His struggle isn’t about wanting his ex back—
It’s about healing from deep wounds before he can truly let someone new in. 💔

Chi Cheng’s pain is exactly what makes this story so raw and human. 💔

You’re welcome! It’s a low-budget Chinese BL — only 4 episodes total, releasing every Thursday. Each one’s under 10 minutes.
Not sure if it’ll be your thing, though, but worth a try!

I actually finished Suntiny — IQIYI did a fast-track release last week, so episodes 8, 9, and 10 all dropped on the same day. I wrapped it up last Tuesday and gave it a 5/10.

Honestly, glad you dropped it — it was pretty boring.

Lost in Kyoto is free on YouTube, by the way!

If we’re being honest,
the real manipulation came from Wang Shuo.

A man so fragile in love,
that one kiss —
one sleep-muttered name —
was enough to break him.

So he broke everything else.
He crafted a lie,
cold and cruel,
pretending he slept with his partner’s best friend.

And then… silence.
Seven years of it.
He vanished without a word,
leaving behind shattered pieces
for others to hold.

Not just Chi Cheng.
But Guo Cheng Yu too —
left believing in a night that never truly happened,
left carrying guilt for a betrayal that wasn’t his.

All because Wang Shuo couldn’t handle the weight of a single moment.

To be honest, when I’m drunk, I kiss my friends all the time just for fun.
I sleep talk too — it means nothing.
But Wang Shuo took something small and twisted it into a weapon.

He was selfish.
But you know what? I’m actually glad Chai Ji Dan added his character.
Because it made the plot so messy, so full of jealousy and chaos —
and that’s exactly what makes this show so addictive.

Show so goated even the snake deserves an Oscar for its acting. Like Chai Jidan I bow down to you for finding…
I’ve loved all her novels — Addicted, Revenged Love (Falling in Love with a Rival), Stay with Me, Advanced Bravely — every single one!

I was so obsessed with Addicted, I read both novels nine times. 😭
Since Season 2 got banned, I’ve just been using my imagination to fill in the rest!

She’s only one year older than me, yet her imagination with boys is absolutely wild 😝

After Episode 18, I seriously want to ask —
where are all the people who dragged Chi Cheng after Episode 17? 😏

He looked his ex in the eye and said it plain:
“I don’t love you anymore.”
No hesitation. No confusion. No lingering feelings.
And yet the comments?
Flooded with accusations —
as if loving Wu Suo Wei was a betrayal,
as if breathing in the same room as his ex made him disloyal.

Let’s be real.
You all jumped to conclusions like it was a sport.
Dragged his name through the mud
because of one scene, one moment —
and now that the truth is staring you in the face?
Silence.

Chi Cheng owes no one an apology.
He was never the problem.
The problem was the people
who couldn’t wait to tear him down
before the next episode even aired.

Honestly I dislike it no matter who is pushy, man, woman, I don't care, back off if you notice someone looks uncomfortable.…
I totally get where you’re coming from, and I actually agree with you on this part—HeYouMei’s behavior was definitely worse because she and Jun Xi aren’t even close, so there was no foundation for that kind of physical pushiness.
What I was trying to say is that I’m glad this scene happened because it exposes the double standard in the comments. When Tuo was pushy, people went absolutely feral, calling him a predator and dropping the series. But now that HeYouMei did something far worse, many are quiet—or even brushing it off.

I’m not defending her actions at all, just pointing out that at the end of the day, this is fictional, and it’s interesting to see how differently people react depending on who crosses the line.

We all knew the breakup scene was coming, but when it finally hit… it shattered me. 💔
Both of them, tearing themselves apart, hurting so deeply—and yet, unable to stop.
After watching 300+ BLs, Revenged Love has taken the crown for the most heartbreaking scene I’ve ever witnessed.
My chest physically ached… it felt like watching two souls bleed in silence.

And now, the torture begins—six days until the next episode, but it will feel like six years.
This isn’t just waiting… this is pure, exquisite agony. 🥀

Let’s talk about Episode 5, because this needs to be said.

When HeYouMei locked the classroom door, shoved Jun Xi onto the table, and tried to kiss him — that was attempted sexual assault.
Full stop.

And you know what? I can already see the double standard coming.
If Tuo had done the exact same thing, the comments would be blowing up with “forced!” “problematic!” “red flag!”
But because it’s HeYouMei — a girl — suddenly it’s silence? Or worse, people brushing it off?

I’m watching closely.
I want to see every single person who called out Tuo show the same energy now.
Let’s see who actually cares about consent… and who only calls it out when it’s convenient.

Also — let me be clear: I know how to differentiate between fiction and real life.
Fiction will always have flaws. It’s meant to reflect the messiness of human nature.

No one watches a movie about a dog being eaten and suddenly thinks,
“Oh, I want to try dog meat.”
No one watches a serial killer movie and says,
“I’m inspired to do that.”

Just because we watch a character with red flags doesn’t mean we support or romanticise their actions.
We’re capable of exploring dark or complex stories without losing our moral compass.

I regret it—I did the opposite of you. I watched this before RL, and now my heart is shattered. 💔

After Episode 18, I really wonder what all the people who bashed Chi Cheng after Episode 17 have to say now. 😏
He clearly told his ex he’s not in love with him anymore, yet most of yesterday’s comments were acting like he still had feelings and shouldn’t be with WSW.

Well… all those assumptions? Totally wrong.
Chi Cheng has zero feelings for his ex—you all just jumped to conclusions way too fast.

Wow… Episode 4 was pure fire 🔥—from the kiss to the NC scene, it was intense yet intimate, and so beautifully…

I can already see the double standard coming.

Wow… Episode 4 was pure fire 🔥—from the kiss to the NC scene, it was intense yet intimate, and so beautifully done.
Even the bath scene was sizzling hot 💦, and then that final hand-holding? Absolutely adorable.
I especially loved how they actually talked about who wanted to top or bottom.
I’m so tired of the usual stereotype where the taller or bigger lead is always the top—this felt refreshing, honest, and real.

And for those saying Tuo forced Jun Xi—Episode 5 proves otherwise.
This time, it was Jun Xi who missed Tuo, who initiated the hug first.
That moment carried so much longing and quiet acceptance—it wasn’t force,
it was two hearts finally colliding after resisting for too long.

I love the fast pacing—no dragging, no dancing around feelings.
Just raw emotion, vulnerability, and connection.
One of the best Taiwanese BLs I’ve watched this year—
A story that burns hot, but leaves a soft warmth lingering long after the screen fades to black.

Title Reset
Reset, the highest-rated BLs on MDL are tied with Jack and Joker, with Revenged Love just behind at 8.7.Considering…
On 16th July,
Revenged Love went from 9 to 8.6 in one hour? 🤦‍♂️ That’s suspicious AF. Either someone’s orchestrating a hate campaign or a wave of trolls just rolled in.

A bunch of people who didn’t even watch it, just jumping on a bandwagon to downvote. So frustrating when genuinely good content gets dragged like that.
