I think maybe the show just wasn’t your style, which is fair but calling Bok Joo dull or whiny kind of misses the point of her whole journey. She’s not meant to be loud or perfect from the start. She’s growing, figuring out her self-worth, dealing with first love, and facing all the pressure that comes with being a young woman in a male-dominated sport. Add in expectations from coaches, family, and society, fuhh it’s a lot. That’s what makes her relatable to so many people.

Okay. The rating of BL on MDL is getting more and more skewed. How is this 8.1? The plot is so basic and the execution…
Why should the rating be based on your opinion alone? The rest of us are enjoying the series, and if you don’t like it, that’s totally fine. Even if the plot is basic, the actors are doing a great job, so they deserve the credit.
Short and easy series. JJ and Methas were the best part of the show, as I found myself increasingly annoyed with…
I’m sorry, but this series is literally a cooking show. I understand if you’re here for the second lead, but if the main character or the restaurant storyline doesn’t interest you, perhaps this show just isn’t a good fit. It’s important to understand the focus of the series.
