Absolutely the writers are truly remarkable. Generally, fans are able to guess by the last 10 episodes yet even now every single charater feels like a suspect honestly.

Kinda found another one. I was rewatching ep 26, so in the prison scene when Zanghai said he found the third culprit, the Marquis expression was worried and Zanghai also kept talking about how he supported ZZX after that so maybe Marquis thought Zanghai had truly found out the third culprit was his son and was worried for him however, when Zanghai revealed it was Queen of Dongxia, Marquis' expresssion changed and he kept saying what a good son ZZX is, maybe because he realized it was ZZX's plan all along to target the Marquis.

Also Marquis immediately after declaring ZZX his heir told him everything about gui seal and the three masterminds but never told his elder son and original heir about these stuff is also sus.

ZZX also grew up in the border maybe he was aware of the gui seal's power and he wanted to avenge his mother so he played the long game. I think the Marquis didn't even know about him? only Cao did?
Also he always had the motive to destroy his family and kill the Marquis. The fact Marquis died in his hands might even be crucial? Obviously I saw the whole Marquis death part but maybe it was also a genius plot by ZZX.
Yeah I have officially lost my mind but rewatching this is somehow making me suspicious of ZZX.

Guys guys guys what if the third person is Zhuang Zhi Xing?
So remember when Zanghai was doubting the hostage princess and his master said that she was only 10 at that time, Zanghai said there were many child genius who are more capable than adults. Also didn't he inform Zanghai that the third person was the Queen.
I know this theory is way too wild but honestly atp everyone is a suspect.

I feel like the masked man is Yang Zhen. I’m probably wrong😰

But there are certain things which were changed from the novel. The creepy intern was not so pushy in the novels as he is here, so I wish they go with the novel in this case and not complicate it🤞
