everytime she got the screen she was somehow worse than the last time. So yeah I believed it as well that she would have a final confrontation with xihe and glad I wasn’t disappointed 👍
I know the novel ending and based on opening credits and reutars seems like this will have similar ending. However, I hope they change it a bit which is quite unlikely, I want Xiao Huayong to be Emperor. I know cdramas dislike it, they even change the novel ending to ensure they don’t become emperor and in this novel he doesn’t become one but I really wanna see him become the emperor like I really really do. He will be a good emperor and that will be a slap on all their faces also he deserves it after spending his life in pain.
I kinda wanna make a short scenario/fic after watching first 5 mins of today's episode.
Hua Yong tells Xi He his favourite colour casually. Xi He who is starting to have feelings for him but still in denial wears clothes in that colour anyway. However when they meet, Hua Yong doesn't mention anything about it pissing Xi He off. Xi He's frustrations are picked up on by her subordinates who tease her about it. On the other hand Hua Yong is confused as to why Xi He's mood shifted because he has always been observant. While having conversation with Tian Yuan, he learns Xi He's clothes colour. He obviously is on cloud 9 realizing she is indeed falling for him but the very next moment he also realizes his impending doom and that he might never be able to witness his most cherished woman in his most cherished colour. The End.
The emperor seems sus from my pov. These are my theories: 1. Either he poisoned Hua Yong and now feels guilty so is spoiling him as a way to reduce his guilt. 2. Emperor is truly evil and spoiling him is also a method to make him the target of everyone’s envy like ep 4.
This show is somehow showing loyal men apart from the ml(who is the greenest forest in my opinion) Like the ml dad would not name another empress, fl dad would not remarry, fl ex husband, 6th prince, was also going to count 2nd prince but then oh well And I know they aren’t good men like the ex husband, 6th prince and probably the emperor as well but so far this seemed interesting becoz generally in costume dramas there isn’t this much loyal men.
