Why are people confused about QM and Yi an's past. They are not exes but were friends with her having a one sided crush on him. They remained friends even after she got married to his brother as shown in one of the flashbacks. I think their relationship deteriorated after the brother's death. And QM still seems to have residuary feelings for Yi an. I think she has years of frustrations built up, she liked Yi an who was clearly the talented brother fit to be the king but was sidelined due to age and she had to marry the CP who was clearly unfit. This is why she keeps bringing up the loser bloodline narrative. And I think the moments where the previous king wanted to abdicate or when she sees Yi an receive people's love or him fighting for the throne, her anger and frustrations burst out, because she gave up her love for the crown so she kinda wants to prove she made the right choice. I also believe she might have known about Yi an's crush on Hui ju since they were friends and wanted to prevent them from being together as a way of revenge. I know it was about control too but I feel this could also be a factor. And the lack of surprise from Yi an today shows he was aware of QM's feelings, maybe that is why he was warning his brother before wedding.

I want Yi an to be king and Hui ju to queen. I do not want any nonsense like cdramas giving up throne to live a normal life in countryside bullshit. It has been evident Hui ju is a strong woman with her own ideas and ambitions so being queen would bring her the power and Yi an has been talented since childhood but was forced to follow and hide in his brother's shadow, he was definitely more suitable for the throne than his brother. Both deserve to be the king and queen, so I hope they are, and no nonsense is pulled like child remaining the king (like is generally done) or abolishing of monarchy (which many commenters theorized). Also I do hope that after being the king, he abolishes the rule for royals not doing business so that Hui ju can take part in it.

I also disliked the lack of fighting scenes of others. I wanted to see Su Changhe fight the Su family head and the Shadow clan leader but his fights start and end😭 Also Yumo, I am actually disappointed. Her part was always revolving around a guy and even her fight scenes weren’t showcased properly. Like I would’ve loved if there was a fight scene of just the women of Blood River, like give me the rabbit, poison lady, the two women of su family and the one in yellow mask along with BHH.

I liked the initial episodes, concentrating on the organisation but after that it went other direction. Don’t get me wrong I really liked the Wushuang city arc and the shadow clan arc however what I disliked is the lack of screentime to Blood River members. Initially I wanted BHH clinic scenes to be in Blood River however, I understood why that couldn’t happen. But I would’ve liked it if it focussed on the members more rather than the selected few members joining in for missions. Also what happened to some of the Blood River members. I am doubtful if I missed them or there was actually no mention of them. Like Xie Qian Ji, Xie Bu xie, Water Official and the shapeshifter hong ying? What happened to these people? I wish it was a bit longer to cover these.
Why are Cheng Xiang and Sun Ge Chuan Ye listed as support cast? Aren’t they along with Xu Zhen Xuan the main trio? Can someone plz make the correction🫡
