This is what you call a pilot that hooks you. I wish it would have released all together. But then I think I can't wait till 28 Dec for it to finish. I have to watch this as new episode are dropping

So basically the guy was supposed to marry the elder daughter and he was his fiance but a day before the marriage she ran away and he end up marrying the younger one who had selective mutisim. The marriage was of convenience between a high profile family who runs media channels and next presidential candidate family.
Their marriage is never out of love so they never treated it as marriage. One day on her way back the FL get kidnapped and when the kidnapper called the ml(husband) he thought it was scam call as he confirmed with his mother in law who said she is with her. So he ignored the call and even said if he had her and wanted to kill her then go ahead and call him back if he had the corpse with him. The FL also listen to this as the kidnapper put the call on speaker. Since they never considered it as a marriage she thought/understood that he is not even serious about this and will do nothing to save her. As she didn't know he was perceiving this call as scam. I guess in that frustration her voice came back and when she asked the kidnapper to call again learning he isn't picking up she rash drives the car and get into an accident and leaves with kidnapper's phone. The way the marriage was going on she decided to use the phone to call him and blackmail him into getting a divorce which she cannot ask for as stated in marriage agreement/contract.

But surprisingly his behaviour knowing that it wasn't a scam call next day in party changes as if he either care about her or the fact that someone can blackmail him.

Let see how it goes whether that wall punch come from the place of ego or love. As the synopsis says after the phone call their relationship starts to change.

Only a week left. I'm so happy that they didn't ruin my two absolute favourite characters in this remake, i.e., He Ziqiu (kang haejun) and Li Baa( Ju won's dad). Even the writing has left the few layers these characters had but the actor Bae Hyunsung and Choi Won Young brought them to life and next level with their acting.

One thing I will regret is Haejun and Dal no having enough scenes. They are my favourite couple here. If in two episodes ju won and sanha still have more screentime i sincerely want a short spinoff for Haejun and Dal

Then you are not remembering right. It was way more painful then this. He had panic attack, sever insomnia and his health both physical and mentally has taken toll including a severe burn on his hand. Here sanha mom is bad shit crazy but ling Xiao mom was crazy in other manner.

What a show. Absolutely loved it. If they are going to bring season 2 I'm watching that. Love how last couple of episode were focused on them as a team and how much far they have came as police officers.

Also Dongbang shaking jjajangmyeon will always going to live rent free in my head. He matched their crazy perfectly. I will be re-watching this one again and again

Nicely put together. Here are a few of the things I like to add.
In the first episode,
I actually learned that in Korea, you can't use a phone, especially if you have a job like that. The customer will report you, and you will lose your job. It's weird, but I agree after getting off, she should have run. But then I guess she was also somewhat aware that her daughter died years ago. Also, the story her daughter was telling throughout the episode seems oddly specific. I wonder if that is how she actually died.

Second episode,
Oh, I agree so much with you on this. It is like as soon as they get a bit higher in their life and higher than their significant other, they see themselves as high class, and the other will bring the higher one down by any means, including life-threatening situations. Also, it didn't feel he was disinterested. It's like he would have cheated the first chance he had. This was the only episode where none of the main characters had received the card, but the counselor dropped the card on the ground on their wedding day.

Ep 3
Horrifying, honestly, if I have seen that home from the door with all those plastic sheets. I'm running.

Ep 4
I agree it was the confusing one. But the poor daughter didn't have a sixth sense. It's more like she shared her crazy with her mother or the mother has done the same thing before. She said, "That's where she fell, bang bang bang, three times". I don't think it's specifically for the ghost, but how she was going to kill the three women if they kept their behavior like that towards her. Also, she tells her mother the same, like, "We have to have junk food sometimes; we can't be picky." It's like they trap the rich family, and if they show prejudice, the calm mother gets unhinged by their behavior and kills them.

Ep5
That was so crazy how he killed almost or more than 6 people in one night is beyond me. He needs to get caught more than that rental mom.

Ep6
Did you notice she was the same streamer who, in the second episode, the guy was watching lying on the sofa? Sunja TV

Ep7
I agree that dude has so many people around him trying to include him, but it is like he had some kind of complex. I get it. He is shy, but he never tried to get involved on the opposite side. He tried to stay away as much as possible. Also, the girl in the backroom has been trying to lure someone for a long time. From the long hair she put on, we see that in ep3, ep5, and ep7, she was successful. Also, when he left the hotel, his shirt collar had blood drops, which is why he kept it in the locker.

So we see most of the characters actually receive their tarot cards in reverse order, which we learn at the end of every episode what it means. Now if you notice this or not; most of these stories are happening around Christmas and almost at similar times.
How,

1. Most stories have a Christmas tree or lightning around them and many stories have the same places or persons present around them.
(a) the doll in ep1 (Santa’s visit) was present in ep 4 (Rental Mom)
(b) “the class wedding counselor” which was the main focus of ep2 has his poster present in ep3 (abandon me/please throw this), ep4 (going home), and ep7 (single locker)
(c) the house where the FL of ep2 cheated with a guy was the same house in ep7 for the FL who was in a backroom of a different dimension.
(d) The ML watching the streamer named SunjaTV in ep2 was the same streamer from ep6 (phishing) as she said, ‘Hello everyone! This is SunjaTV’.
(e) the underbridge pass throw and the locker was present at the beginning of ep3 where the delivery person delivers the water bottles; they were also in ep5 where the man put away his pen that he used to murder 6 people in total and the main element in ep7. (more on these lockers later)
(f) the small store from where the delivery guy took the delivery was also seen in ep6 when the manager was eating there as well as in ep7 the ML was also having food there.
(g) one of the rich ladies present in ep4 was a customer at the hairdresser in ep7. (I kinda be wrong on this one)
(h) the taxi driver in ep5 was the same taxi in ep6; most probably he drove the streamer first and then the guy from ep5 who murdered him.
(i) The shady hotel where the streamer asked the second person to come was the same hotel where the ML in ep7 was with a girl after the bar scene and she is literally sitting in the same position in the bathtub
(j) I believe the police officer who came to check the streamer’s house in ep6 was the same who arrested the ML of ep5 (I could be wrong on this as well)
(k) the rabbit park in ep6 was also present in ep7 and ML said it was his safe space.

2. In most episodes either the MC was a psychotic killer are a victim of one.

3. The story in episode 1 is oddly specific; a man climbs down the window who claims himself as Santa and when the mother reaches home the kid is missing (well dead in the original timeline) I guess maybe that’s how the kid died. As the teacher from school also said we know it’s Christmas and maybe that is why you are behaving like this.

4. In The Rental Mom episode, the mother killed 3 different women before or stated that she would kill all three cause the way that kid told the other, “That's where they fell. Bang, bang, bang, three times”. The most creepy part of that episode to me was the kid petting the mother in the same way as she was petting the dog. And saying the same line that the rich mom told her kid “Sometimes we have to eat junk food, you can’t be picky”.

5. Now I said I talk about the locker part later here it is when we see the locker in ep3 the delivery person takes out “hair” and finds his card; in ep5 he saw the “hair” and the guy placed his murder weapon(the pen) next to it and left and in ep7 ML found the hair along his shirts and then learn there is the alternate world by the end we see a girl who has a big chunk of hair missing and she tells how she got the other side which turned out to be backroom in different dimensions and she tells that this is the only way she could have attracted someone means she was placing it for many days until a person found it interesting. She needed someone to open the locker from the real world at the right time as we see once the locker is closed in the real world you can’t travel back from the backroom.

6. The blood on the collar of ML in ep7, what do we think of that? Did he kill the girl he was with, in the hotel?

I'm talking about ep3 abandon me, ep5 going home and ep7 single locker.

Hi, so ep3, the delivery person who came to deliver the water bottle in the open, was asked to drop it in a single locker. He found hair, and he actually found his card there (the card part is not important here, but the hair is). He took out the hair and left after calling the customer who placed the order. In ep 5, the person, after killing the police, was walking through the same underpass, and in the locker, he left the murder weapon (his pen). When he placed the weapon, the hair was still there. Saying that both events were happening at the same time or close to each other. Now, the hair is an important part of the connection in ep7 it was the focal point at the end when the person swaps her position with the ml of that ep. She says she has been keeping the hair for a long time to attract someone. Now, she was shown in a backroom type of place, and time may have passed differently cause she was counting multiple days as if multiple months had passed. But she was dressed in her winter clothing, so for real world, maybe a couple of weeks have only gone by, but on her end, she had no choice but to lure someone to open the door from the real world for her to pass the dimensions and get back.

Now a very interesting detail. In the ep2 Wedding Counselor, the Poster was present in all three episodes. It was also present in the backroom of different dimensions. But if we remember, in that episode, none of the main cast (female or male) received the card. The counselor dropped the card at the end. Is she giving cards to random people?

I also didn't enjoy the first episode but honestly it felt stupid to just drop a show cause you didn't like the pilot episode at least give it a chance with 5-6 episode.

I agree in many aspect Ling Xiao was way better than Kim Sanha but I guess people are loving him cause he is portrayed by Hwang In-Youp whom without a doubt we all love. And I read so many comments on reels/short how they are watching only to see In-Youp get the girl.

Thank you, IKR, it like all of us are having Mandela effect, every three to four comments later there are comments like I love how it doesn't have love triangle like GA, they are in different relationship than in GA. I love this remake I am thoroughly enjoying it but I don't know why everyone is taking about things that was not in original and they say they have watched the original or they dropped cause of love triangle

Also it feels like she needs someone to blame as if she loves being in denial and having power over something as soon as that goes it comes crashing down how she is the worst. In her cause ignorance is really her bliss

We all have double standard. When ling Xiao kissed her it was unhinged behaviour but when Sanha kissed when she said that she will always remain sister, we are so okay. 🤣🤣🤣🤣
