Every time there is a forced marriage I just want to ask these parents if they even love their children. Another thing is that when the 2FL goes to the ML mother trying to get her to convince him to marry her. I love this show and am watching it again right now, but some of it really drives me crazy.

Same. Am watching it again right now, don't know how many times. The one thing that really bothers me about it, is when they find out who actually stole the designs, Xu Ling doesn't apologize for any of the things she said or done to Mo Fei.

no real love triangle, a guy she had a crush on in college rejected her for weird reasons and then he realized he was in love with her, but by that time she was already in the relationship with the ML. Can't tell you what epi but they get together pretty quickly. No real breakup, he finds out a mistake he made due to lies told by someone else and he leaves for a while, but they get back together quickly. Absolute happy ending. They end up working at the same co., both their families are rich and involved in some way with the company. Her father is a jerk, his uncle and cousin is just as bad, they try to cause problems, but fortunately the ML & FL are really smart and mature and find their way without those people. Their mothers are great, they knew each other years ago, they agree that the "kids" should make up their own minds about how they are going to lead their lives, his grampa, could be a tyrant if he wanted to be, but he was very good to the ML (I think that was due to guilt on his part, due to the way the ML's father died,) and her paternal grandparents are very loving with both of them. It's the kind of show that there isn't a whole lot of drama, there are people who try to make trouble, but they don't let that effect them after they clear up the first misunderstanding. I love it and will probably watch it a lot more.

Watching this for the 2nd time and although I feel sorry for him, watching that mopey guy (2ML I suppose) is more than enough. I hate that she has to really tell him off in epi 30, but how else was she going to get him to leave her alone.

Wow, I can't even imagine that. I hope you are able to make a marriage that you want, not one that is thrust upon you.

watching this again after letting it go for a year. The scene where she was narrating the death scene brought me right back to tears.

have you watched, or finished. Not a triangle, but his best friend did see her the same day he did at the Temple and fell in love at first sight, he didn't find out who she was until after the main characters were married.

have been thinking the same thing as the episodes go by. People talked about a slow burn...this stuff was basically kindling. I would really much rather see Zhang Han in modern dramas where he yes, does sizzle. Now I'm going to have to go back to one of the shows I've watched a dozen times to get his sizzle.

I apparently watched this before and at least got to epi 14 per one of my comments, but believe, I don't remember it at all. I'm not at 22 and just skipped to 27 which seems to be what I'll have to get to the very end and see if the mother has a heart attack like she keep pretending to. She needs a good throat punch.

You made me laugh. I'm right there with you. Started it a while back, apparently got to epi 14, but I swear, I don't remember watching, so obviously it's really memorable to me, LOL. The mother makes me want to throat punch her.

I'm skipping so much that it's going to be a 3 epi show for me.

I am absolutely convinced that Chinese parents really don't love their children. Is there a single parent in this show that is interested in their child's happiness or just more concerned about their businesses. Zhou Yao's sister was forced to marry some sleezy guy from another rich family for the business, she hates him, he hates her and mother is happy to have gotten the benefit from his family, now she's determined that Zhou Yao will marry the girl he has told her repeatedly that he only thinks of her as a sister, she doesn't care if he's happy or not, she wants to be happy with the daughter-in-law she picked. The "daughter-in-law" wants him just because she wants him and has for the majority of her life so her father is going to make sure she gets him, doesn't matter if the marriage will be happy, he wants what his spoiled princess wants, then we have Zheng Ming whose parents have chosen a bride for him. What is the deal with these people?

just went in and read the synopsis for this and it sounds so good, so put it on my Watch List. Once I'm finished with what I'm watching I'll head to it.

Geez, I had forgotten just how annoying Hye Ji is. I now have to ff through all the scenes with her, if I have to look at that mopey face one more minute I may just scream. So many kdramas have that one person who is obsessed since childhood for another, man or woman, but this girl takes the cake.

I like psychological drama's so I'm going to have to check that out, thank you.

you've probably discovered by now that yes, the 4th knight is the secretary. This is a good show, I'm just starting it over again because I can't find anything I really want to watch.

I've watched it a few times, getting ready to watch again. I think it's worth it, but we're all different.
